OT- Book Learnin
We're in peak offseason, so I figure now is a good time to catch up on some reading. Specifically books as they relate to College Football. What's some suggestions for the hardcore fan?
Some of mine:
1. 4th and Long- John U Bacon
2. The Meat Market- Bruce Feldman
3. The System- Jeff Benedict and Armen Keteyian.
Worst:
1. That horseshit book Rosenberg published.
Anyone else have any favorites?
I know it's not football but this is my summer read and it's been very entertaining.
The First Family Detail: Secret Service Agents Reveal the Hidden Lives of the Presidents.

Did you really hate Rosenberg's book or are you just saying that because of the articles he wrote?
I happened to really enjoy the book (I didn't know much about that era at the time). I am of course upset over how he treated the program afterwards, but I don't let that affect my appreciation of his book.
So are you still buying a car from the dealer who slept with your wife? He can get you a great deal...
was a cum dumpster of already written information. Like literally everything in there could have been found in another Woody and Bo book. There was no point to it. And I hate it doubley as much because of the articles he wrote. I'm biased, sue me.
I say this every time someone asks about M books. It's a great read about Benny Friedman, a Michigan great that too many of us know nothing about.
This is a very good, little known book about (my opinion) the most important player in the history of the game.
"If I Don't Six" by Elwood Reid.
Just a great read about football, adjusting to college, and even a bit of philosophy.
