In non Michigan related injury new, this is a big blow to Boogie and the Lakers. Have to feel for Boogie, he went from a potential max guy in 2018 to potentially out of the league 1.5 years later at 29 years old.

This, coming after Stueber's injury post, had me thinking that Stueber tore his ACL.  Despite that it's marked OT!

And just WTF is a Boogie Cousin?

Wow...that’s terrible news for him. He just can’t seem to catch a break with his health: Achilles, Hamstring, and now an ACL. He’s such an immensely talented guy and super fun to watch. This is a bummer for the Lakers and the NBA.

He wasn't the same player anymore following that Achilles tear, which showed in the Finals. He had moments where he shined, but he didn't have the speed or jumping ability anymore that made him a versatile big. This knee injury will likely take away more of what little athletic ability he has left and also add the reputation that he can't stay healthy. If he's lucky, he will be at the end of some team's bench beyond this upcoming season. It's sad because he was once on of the best big men in the league.

Cant feel bad for anyone who turned down a 2 year 40 million dollar offer - after tearing his Achilles!

The Lakers weren't going to be great anyway.

The Clippers are probably going to be the team to beat in the West now.

Again, dude turns down a 2 year $40 million guaranteed contract, days after tearing his Achilles, to accept a 1 year 6 million contract...Only to re-injure himself. Then he signs a 1 year contract, only to re-injure himself.

40 million. Guaranteed. 2 years. Turned down.

Why feel bad?
