What I don't find funny is "at."  Whenever I see or hear "at" at the end of a sentence or question, I want to explode.  It seems to be a Michigan thing(state of, not University of). 

I live in Jackson and I hear it everywhere, and the people I explain it to, curse me because they begin to notice that everyone does it and they also want to correct them.  I only explain it to friends because I think it's rude to correct people's grammar, but sometimes I can't help myself.

the worst part is that kids text in their papers and don't even realize it. i hate it bcuz they may do this on a college application someday (or a Mcdonald's application).

I am grading essays right now and I swear to God, spell check is making our youth look far less intelligent than they really are.  Even thou a weird is spell right doesn't mean it makes cents and is properly use, yet there not bothering too revise be cause spell Czech says their spelling everythings write.

Grammar Nazis are individuals with OCD that have probably dropped acid while watching PBS sponsored children's shows.

... the grammar nazis hang out in large conference rooms, and throw out a totally meaningless correction to a group-reviewed document, to which one of their own replies: "good catch."
