OT-Any other coaches on here?

Submitted by ggoodness56 on
Hey, I was just wondering if there are any other football coaches on here. I am down in Tennessee coaching 8th grade and are season just started. I assume Michigan's MS/HS season starts in a week or two, from what I remember.

I was the Offensive Coordinator for a High School here in Colorado for 4 years. I am taking the year off this season but I am already starting to miss it! Football season is just around the corner and it's going to be hard not to be coaching on Friday nights. Good luck to you and your team this season

But I got injured early on during my junior season for HS (2008),(Torn ACL) but then I became an assistant offensive coordinator, kind of like, helping out spot stuff in the opposing defense, and then figuring out a play that would work against it.

I have been coaching for four years, mainly offensive line, defensive line, and linebackers. I prefer to keep my whereabouts somewhat anonymous, however.

I coach the junior varsity thumb wrestling team at Alice Kravitz North Senior High School in Crumples-on-Carbuncle, Nebraska. Last year we had great success when one of our best competitors, Larwith Peddlefungerst, developed a move he named the "Flagrant Goosehole Stuffer." It took awhile for him to teach it to all his team mates, but once he did, we became a force in the Nebraska C7 District, making it all the way to the first round of the playoffs, where we were trampled by our arch enemy, Pottsie Webber East High School of Piles of Ernie, Nebraska. We vow to be back this year, as we return our entire team of veteran thumb wrestlers (due to the fact that they all flunked 10th grade).

in our first game and my center snapped the ball, and literally just danced at the line every play. He never went down field at all. sigh...tomorrow's practice should be fun.

because he was just standing at the line between the guards chopping his feet. occasionally they would blitz a linebacker that he would pickup, but other than that. no blocking. i dont think i can get him to the linebackers in a game. im considering using him as just a help on a downblock with the guard. the team we play on thursday has a monster defensive tackle.
