EDIT: This should not have been posted. Apologies to the board.
Saw an ad for this on TV and plan to buy some to be used soley to clean up dog shit.

Huh?

Okay?

care for NFL football but this paper towel really does not do much to increase my level of distain.
January 7th, 2015 at 11:26 AM ^
Compared to 50 years of William Clay Ford, NFL paper towels are inconsequential.
January 7th, 2015 at 9:27 AM ^
should be toilet paper

I'm usually a cheapskate when it comes to a lot of things when I go grocery shopping and often go for the generic Kroger/Meijer brand if I can help it...except when it comes to paper towel. I don't play with that shit, it's Viva or nothing at all.
January 7th, 2015 at 9:49 AM ^
I am particularly broke and have to go lower than generic, like the generic of the generic, the role where it collapses when you grab it. Groceries are brutal these days.
January 7th, 2015 at 10:10 AM ^
Is the generic version of Viva. Not all stores have one, but often they'll have several generic brands each made to look/act like particular name brand. If you find a generic that's copying Viva, it's usually about as good, maybe a little less good, but significantly cheaper.
January 7th, 2015 at 10:22 AM ^
Kroger does have a generic version of Viva, which I have tried multiple times. Unfortunately, it's one of those more rare situations where the Kroger generic just doesn't stand up to the name brand version.

^^ This ^^ - I had no 2nd thoughts about paper towels until I got married, and my wife introduced me to this. Viva is the cat's tits.

Kirkland Signature seems to work pretty well around our house. And you can get a truck load for about 1/2 the price of a 3-roll of Bounty or Viva.
January 7th, 2015 at 9:27 AM ^
Boy, now I'm mad at the NFL!
January 7th, 2015 at 9:28 AM ^
This isn't some kind of joke about the Saints' defense?

everything pisses me off
January 7th, 2015 at 9:44 AM ^
where everything has SEC teams on it?
And THIS is what gets your knickers in a twist?
January 7th, 2015 at 9:30 AM ^
I hear Bounty absorbs flags real good.

^^^^^^In our culture of outrage we should really be upset that this internet-winning post has not been upvoted more.

I'm outraged the NFL would do a product tie-in.
Not really. It's freakin' paper towel. :-)
Which, incidentally, I find very handy. But it doesn't have to have NFL printing on it. Plain white is good enough for me.
January 7th, 2015 at 9:33 AM ^
I'm not going to sit here and pretend I wouldn't fill my entire basement with these if they had block M's on them...

that really doesn't make a lot of sense...sort of like an oil company advertising on an acne medicine.

from that respect, yeah...but when I think paper towels, I don't think 'NFL' or vice versa. Its just turning a bunch of disposable rags into small billboards. Functionally it doesn't make sense to me.
January 7th, 2015 at 9:35 AM ^
And go to bed.

I think I heard Ford pulled all their ads after last weekend's debacle, so this must be one of their ads to replace it. ??

seems like a good place to thread jack: Anyone seen the new Kid Rock video? Great song, too.

Your new avatar is throwing me for a serious loop, GoWings2008.

Its taking me a little to get used to as well, but I got it off a picture on a story from folks outside the PC when Harbaugh was introduced.

Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!

They sell everything else imaginable. Why not this?
January 7th, 2015 at 9:40 AM ^
Come on! It's "Bounty" paper towel...like with the bounty situation in New Orleans.
The NFL is making a bold statement by addressing they will clean up any further bounty situations with their all mighty paper towel.
:/
January 7th, 2015 at 9:40 AM ^
it difficult to be outraged about this.
If those paper towels had a block M on them I too would fill my basement with them.
/Kid Rock sucks.

Had his face on each sheet-I believe it was only sold for a short time at Michigan Stadium, Bo thought it was disrespectful and had it yanked. (I mean, it WAS disrespectful, but that was kind of the point!) Thought it was hilarious as a 13-year old.
January 7th, 2015 at 9:58 AM ^
my hatred level has not moved a blip after finding out Bounty has teamed up with the NFL.
I do find those NFL domestic violence commercials annoying however.

without regard for relevance.
This morning, I was redirected to the ad link below for the slim Bellroy wallet that touts itself against other wallets by proclaiming:
The other causes a massive bulge and kills any suit or denim silhouette...
But what if I carry my wallet in my front pocket?
