OT (and SIAP): Tom Brady's soft balls

Submitted by 4godkingandwol… on

Dead horse and all, but a couple good articles out today and yesterday regarding the NFL hypocracy on Tom Brady's soft balls.

Basically calling out the absurdity of how the rules have been applied to the Pats last year vs. the Steelers in a game this year.

Hypocracy isn't a word but it would mean something like "Rule of below" from Greek υπο ("under, below") and κρατος ("rule"), like democracy "rule of the people."

Also, OP - maybe work on the title?  Let the reader understand that this is new info about how the NFL offices are full of shit nuggets on a level that B1G refs can only aspire...

As a Steelers fan and Tom Brady fan I enjoy this because it makes Goodell look bad.

Also this is something I was thinking about the other day, glad it was mentioned in the article.

The second point is less obvious: Somebody from the New York Giants stuck a needle into two footballs during a game last week to measure them. Which tells you that the NFL's ball-security procedures are not being followed, even now.

Man, once they made Tom Brady inflate the balls to the proper specs it totally killed his game.  The only way he was winning was because he cheated.  He might as well just retire.

Wait. . . . what?

Seems to me that Jim Delaney would make a perfect replacement for Roger Goodell.  NFL front office wouldn't skip a beat with the change.  Both are incompetitent oxygen theifs.
