Yes. Yes I did.
Unfortunately though, I got drunk and blew all my money on Mgopoints.

Don't spend all of the 47 cents in one place.
I was in a pool of 20 people from work. We bought 200 tickets. So I get .55 cents for my $10 bucks. Sweet!
Reminds me of my old Pets.com stock.

...that we bought in the office pool at work, I am sad to report that myself and 11 other people will be reporting to work on Monday morning as usual.
I guess I should rescind the retirement paperwork that I filled out this morning...

With scissors a little elmers glue, you could turn that into a winning ticket in no time.
March 30th, 2012 at 11:35 PM ^
I did not.

...but didn't play...waiting a few weeks until the pot really grows!

My wife heard that the expert math people said there must be a winner because all possible number combinations were exhausted with the high sales. I find that hard to believe considering random number generators will produce the same series of numbers from time to time, but who knows. They're the experts, not me.

There are what 175,000,000 possibilities. They sold 600,000,000 to 700,000,000 million tickets for this drawing. Odds are there were a few numbers that were skipped, but the vast vast majority were picked.
If there wasn't a chance of spilt winnings and you had $175,000,000 you could of guaranteed yourself a win and profit. You just needed a lot of time.
Well, seeing as half of the people who play the lottery use the numbers, 4 8 15 16 23 42, I'd say every one still has a good chance.
Especially if you live in Baltimore County Maryland.
Omar probably won.
"Best be givin' that ticket to Omar."

"All in the game, yo."
model the actual behavior of people picking the numbers?
A lot of people use birthdays, which would mean numbers >31 would be underselected. And I have a feeling a lot of people wouldn't choose certain combinations, like six numbers in a row, because "they aren't random" and would never happen. (Of course there might also be people who had thought that and specifically picked one of those combinations....)

My $10,000 donation to HTTV will have to wait...

I left my ticket at work. Time to play the waiting game.

I bought a $5 easy, and all I could remember was that two of the lines started with 02. I saw this post, freaked out a little, and had to run and get my ticket. Now I'm just a sad guy in need of a change of underpants.
March 30th, 2012 at 11:46 PM ^
None of my five tickets even had a 2 in them. Is there some way I can get a refund ? ? ?

It's sorta like I ran a 60 meter dash, but fell on my face after 10 meters. Twice.

If they're on the same line, you actually win $3 for that, so go turn it in.

As also did not buy. Not sure what the buzz for 650 million dollars is for. Whats the difference if its 200 million or 500 million. The megamillions always gets to a couple hundred million. Since everyone was buying these I got a cash for life at the gas station for $5 bucks hoping to get 2 grand a week for life. Actually ended up winning 10 bucks. Although we didnt win, we all got the day dreaming time thinking about what life would be like if we won. I'm sure everybody spends a good amount of time each week day dreaming about the lottery.
Today on 97.1 in the morning they were asking would you rather win the 500 million or have Brandon Inge's career (34 million, playing in the mlb etc but career not so fan favorite as of now). Both guys on the show picked having INge's career.
Oh cool, I won.
DNP - Coach's Decision.

-None of these people are me.

I hit three numbers and the mega ball for $150. Missed the fourth number and $10K by one digit. Spent $10.
