OSU vulnerable?

Is it just me, or does OSU seem vulnerable right now? Their offense can't get any rhythm against Wisconsin, and their defense is getting beat by the faster elements of Wisconsin's offense. I ask this because this is looking good for us. Wisky's going down the field pretty well while Brutus can't. Too soon to tell?

Well, OSU looked lousy against Navy, too. And it's only the 2nd quarter. Last time these two played in Columbus it was a very close game until the 4th when OSU blew down the doors on their way to a 38-17 victory.

I think both of these defenses give us fits. If we have Molk back at 100%, I think we might be okay. Our only hope is if we can keep OSU's offense out of rhythm. I'm not sure how sold I am on that yet.

I don't think it's too soon. Maybe OSU didn't "get up" for this game. One thing that isn't too soon to tell is that TP looks AWFUL! While I never have been a fan of his passing ability I don't think he is making good decisions out there at all. He looks like a true freshman right now. How long til the Buckeye faithful start to boo him? I gotta say this makes me smile!!!

OSU's offense looks awful. The problem is Pryor is not a very good passer, and Tressel won't take advantage of his passing ability. That totally neuters Pryor and the rest of OSU's offense as a result.

That's what it looks like lol. OSU's best chance is to keep their offense off the field or hand it off and take the game out of TP's hands. Their defense is the only reason that this isn't a 17-0 game right now

Before the season started I counted Illinois as a toss up, if not a loss. Things look a bit different now, and still things can change (though not likely, seeing the game today). Point is, a lot can change. There are so many aspects to the game - physical, mental, emotional - that it's difficult to predict anything in the college game (especially more than a week out).

Pryor is looking just uncomfortable and a little awkward. I give credit to the WR on the TD pass. The coverage was good and it was purely WR vs DB for the ball. TP just got it close enough. And, I love this; the Boo-Birds were out in Columbus. It seemed to be a combination of bad TP play and bad play calling on that particular drive.

OSU seems to get more defensive TDs than anyone else in the country. Maybe USC has them beat in that category, but that's about it. Annoying game to watch. Wisconsin, overall, seems to be outplaying them, but they can't finish drives and then OSU gets scores out of nowhere.
