OSU-MSU home-home, away-away schedule hasn't changed

Just received the weekly message from "This week in Michigan Football."  There is a link embedded that takes you to their website in case you are interested in getting on a waiting list for football tickets.  That mgoblue page lists the future schedules for those interested in tickets and shows that MSU and OSU games are still scheduled at home together next year and away the following year, as they were scheduled pre-covid.  Everything I've seen/heard has assumed that because the games are split this year that they would be split in following years.  Apparently that assumption is wrong.  Be advised!

There is also a very cool 3-D stadium view app that you can access, so you can "see" the inside of the stadium from whatever seat interests you.  Here is a link to my seat in Section 3:  https://www.seats3d.com/ncaa/university_michigan/football/#/p;253__p_3_21/  Have fun with this!   Not quite the same as being there but very creative.

Super Meh.  OSU and PSU are clearly the "circle the date" games on the schedule.  Those two games need to have alternating home years.  The rest of the division (including Sparty) can just fall where they may.  In fact, with Wisconsin on the schedule regularly over the past few years, I'm glad that those game didn't fall into the same home/away cadence as OSU.

I can guarantee you that the ticket office thinks differently.  OSU and MSU are the two games most in demand for tickets, year-in and year-out.  Fans dig the rivalry games.

I can't believe the OP is correct about this though.  There is no way we're hosting Sparty three consecutive years.

So we either get Sparty at home back to back to back years and kick their ass and then goes back to the way it was already scheduled, or it alternates with the OSU game and we still kick their ass.

Result is the same.

How do you think MSU feels then? They have to go to Ann Arbor three straight years to play. Students who started at MSU last year have to wait until their senior year to get to see MSU play Michigan in East Lansing.

I don't know, to me I'm not bothered much by this even if the schedules aren't switched for good. MSU clearly is not the same formidable power it was from 2010-2015 under Dantonio. Until Mel Tucker proves otherwise, I'm not too concerned about MSU regardless of where Michigan plays them. Now if we had to go to Happy Valley and Columbus in the same year, yeah I'd be upset. But I think the schedule is fine the way it is. Making MSU come here three straight times more than makes up for the scheduling disaster that DB left for us in 2013-14.

@ MSU and IU at Michigan Stadium for 2021 and you have the correct UM Scheduled opponents for 2021 as stated by the conference when these new schedules came out this year.

What I want to know is how many years straight do we still have to play Wisconsin?  I thought teams were supposed to rotate with the other division.  I think we have played Wisconsin 10 years in a row.

They will probably flip at Indiana 10/16/21 to a home game. Otherwise, we would be on the road against them (3) straight years. They will probably flip MSU to a road game so they wouldn't be on the road (3) straight years. Also, I noticed that in 2022 we have (8) home games. I hope that holds.
