Orange Bowl Open Thread

Tajh Boyd vs Braxton Miller.  Lots of offense expected.

Let's hope Clemson's offense shows up for their bowl game this year.

Line: OSU -2.5

Over/Under: 71.5

Edit:

2014 Orange Bowl final score

Clemson: 40

Ohio:  35

Big night for Clemson offense

Sammy Watkins. 16 receptions for 227 yards (an Orange Bowl and Clemson record) and two touchdowns. What a beast!

Tajh Boyd also set an Orange Bowl record with 486 total yards.

I heard this was the first time Ohio lost when they score 35+ points.  (insert sad panda here)

I hope this gets ugly for OSU. Really ugly. I want them to sit there at the end of this game, knowing that they're 24-2 and have absolutely nothing to show for it.

Ride that Sammy Watkins train. Ride it all the way until it pounds OSU into submission.

I think we've seen the past 3 games that OSU's undefeated run was a bit overrated.  Clemson is a fine team but they aren't usually THIS good.

I'll admit it, having not watched many Clemson games I assumed Watkins was just a product of the up tempo spread they run. Having watched him closely this game, he might just be the best athlete in the country. He has it all. He's thickly built, fast, quick, great acceleration, and he actually catches with his hands and doesn't body catch. See his long TD for an example.

I think that Swinney is forcing passes because he thinks that's the way to beat OSU.  Not unlike the way Michigan chose to attack.

I really expected more keepers from Boyd.  Maybe Shazier & co. shut that down.

OSU special teams have looked great all year.  Among the best in the country.

that makes no sense... a 15 yard penalty should have given clemson a first down regardless if he made it

B/c it techically happened AFTER missing the 4th down conversion, possession had already switched the second they didn't convert (although it looked as if they actually did)
