Oklahoma true freshman quarterback Chandler Morris announced Thursday that he is leaving the program.

Morris, an ESPN 300 recruit who was the seventh-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the 2020 class, revealed the news on Twitter.

Oklahoma loses second QB in a month, leaving them with two scholarship QBs on the roster

Over 20 guys have transferred from Oklahoma in the last year including OSU starting running back Trey Sermon. Right now Oklahoma has 8 guys still in the portal, including 2 of the 3 scholarship QBs currently on campus. Their other scholarship QB in still in high school, leaving them with only Spencer Rattler and a true freshman.

How many of those players would be starters next year at OU? How many of OU’s top players opted out rather than play 2020? Oklahoma seems to do fine reloading every year. Any OU parents for a starter on Twitter like Mrs. Mayfield?

the transfer porta certainly has lead to increased transfers across the board but that doesn’t mean their aren’t issues in the Michigan locker room. Plenty of players seem happy to end their time at Michigan.

He's Chad Morris' son who was the QB coach & OC at Auburn. Who knows if he'll still be there with Bryan Hardin from Boise St coming in so maybe Chandler will follow his dad to his next stop.

Man, Lincoln Riley must be an absolutely awful person to be around and drives people away with his toxic coaching.

I'm sorta done with Michigan kicking around the transfer portal for QBs.  Morris is probably fine but I can't imagine he's got a higher upside than McCarthy or McNamara at this point.

Morris was never going to play at OU anyway.  Rattlesnake is the starter and OU signed the #1 duel-threat QB in this class.   Morris was good in high school but he’s never going to be a college QB.

That's what happens when you have a very good quarterback especially  who's only a freshman!/soohmore ! Other qbs  on the team who feel they are telented enough to start somewhere else are going to transfer! Kids don't want to wait to play!

And it seems like we were made to believe this was a Michigan problem, alone. Most of the Michigan transfers went to lower programs. Not defending Harbaugh here just saying the reporting on this seems jaded,
