Not (!!) OT: Vintage M Memorabilia
My buddy's birthday is coming up. He's always been interested in vintage M memorabilia, and I wanted to get him something in that vein. I searched the logical sites (MDen, Fanatics, etc) and didn't find anything that quite hit the bill. He's looking for, like, old logos, posters, things like that. (On a t-shirt, coffee cup, poster, hat, etc) The stuff Homefield does is perfect, but they don't have M gear.
Does anyone have recommendations? The budget is around $100, he doesn't care about authenticity (repros are fine), and he's not particularly invested in signatures/etc. Cool niche stuff is better than big names -- like he'd rather have the 50's logo than a nifty promo poster of Woodson, if one exists (damn NCAA!). It doesn't have to be M sports related -- general Michigan stuff is great.

If it's off of Ebay, does that mean it's been worn?
I would think tags = not worn more than a few times to try on or something
No tags would be dicey.
But resale shops are all the rage too. Nothing wrong with getting extra miles out of something someone else is done with.

Vintage brand is very legit. I’m a clippers fan, back when it was just me and Frankie Munez, got a San Diego clippers hat from them, also a expos hat. Same exact hat just different colors and logo. They have a shit ton of stamps

Not vintage but you can get a Little Brown Jug or Paul Bunyan replica from Rivalry Trophy. 20 percent off too.
I have an ornament sized jug that I keep on my desk, and one for the Christmas tree.nice quality too.
Ebbets Field Flannels makes some cool throwback tees, jerseys and baseball caps. For some reason they don’t make a Block M hat. Use the google machine and check ‘em out

I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ve got a 5 foot chunk of redwood from 1927 with the nos. 20 thru 23 spaced about 16” apart along with one bolt hole. I’ll do something with it someday.

A friend was an historic preservationist at UM and just gave me a piece. It’s from the N. endzone, approximately sec 28 to 33 (being renovated that summer). No certificate of authenticity, but I know where it's from.

My wife got me this Michigan leather helmet off Etsy. It's in my office on a stand. All the OSU fans in the office even think it's pretty nice. Kind of overbudget, but it's worth the extra $50
