Northwestern beats IU on the road 74-67 - assumes first place in B1G
Northwestern went to Assembly Hall and knocked off IU with balanced scoring and consistently tough shot-making. It looks quite similar to the weather in Michigan State. You keep thinking, there is no way they can keep shooting these type of contested shots at this type of rate for a whole game, but now they have done it two games in a row.
Northwestern is now 2-0, the top of the heap at this very early moment.

Their guard play has been pretty good, but I'm interested to see them play against some front court monsters. I don't see how their guys are staying in front of Cockburn, Garza, Dickinson, etc

Wow I was actually thinking about that matchup seeing Cockburn dominate PSU and wondering how things will go, but I didn't even think about the names. I'm really disappointed in my lack of immaturity. They don't play until much later though.

This conference could have as many as 10 in the tournament, not saying they will, and do some damage. They'll more than likely get in 7 but the only team in the conference that looks subpar so far is Nebraska.

TBH, I didn't watch since there were better games on. Have to give NW credit since the Hoosiers were giving 9 points here and the Cats still went out and shot 56% and won by 7.
