The A with a serif has been used a lot before...
Not as a wordmark is what I meant to say.
How are those examples not a wordmark?

Our current M54 has been in use since the mid-2000s at least. Those above never were our signature wordmark we used every year, just different adidas fonts on apparel.
Granting that the Adidas gear displayed their fonts and therefore not our wordmark, what is the basis for saying that the Nike gear is evidence of a new wordmark? How do you know it's not just a Nike font?
That's why I put a question mark in the title. I don't know. It could be.
M54 is the closest font you can use on your computer that's out there right now to replicate our wordmark.
M54 is not the font on Michigan's wordmark. It's close, but there are subtle differences, see below. However, I would not be surprised if Nike adopts a new font. Michigan has already went halfway down that road with the Michigan Stadium logo. Also, it seems like Nike is usually consistant with the fonts and logos across merchandise. But, just like Amarillo vs. Maize, what Nike does does not necessarily make it official.

Yeah I see what you mean. The A is really the revealing factor there. I took a look at my valance a minute ago and compared it to the M54 and the A is different.
M54 is the closest we have right now in terms of fonts available to the public.
We got to valance over 3 years ago: see the OP at http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/tailgating-prep-thread-best-u-m-single-color-images-tailgating-tent
it's peaks not peeks

I mean, a t-shirt is a t-shirt is a t-shirt. I'm sorry, but at some point, if MDen is indeed going to release one new item a day... A new thread on a t-shirt every single day, and discussion that boils down to "well, it's a t-shirt."
Might be time for the ole Section 1 "here's a space for you to create your own content," because let's face it, we don't need a new t-shirt or gym short thread every day.
Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.
It's the middle of July. It's OT season and this is not OT. Suck it up and move on.
Because a lot of people have been waiting for this gear. And I guarantee if someone else was posting these threads, you'd just do the adult thing and skip it instead of post not once, not twice, but three times in it.
Each thread is getting triple digit replies and if not being the most viewed, is a close second behind the most viewed thread of the day. Don't tell me people don't care about this stuff. They wouldn't be shutting down State St. if no one cared.
p.s, there was no t-shirt in this thread. Just thought I'd point that out.
Agree to disagree. Doesn't matter who's posting it, there's no need for a daily thread on the newest Nike gear to see the light of day.
Don't click on it then. This is one of the most popular posts by view count.
Are these threads popular due to the content or are these threads popular due to the potential for a classic WolvDev meltdown?

I'm sure a new thread will come from WD soon enough, but here are the new reveals for today.
