Yes. I would still argue the committee picked the wrong 4. But, that’s the entire point. With a 4 team playoff, 2 teams would feel cheated. With an 8 team playoff 4 teams would feel cheated and would be asking for a 16 team playoff structure. It’s a never ending cycle.
My argument is that the goal should be to get the top 2 teams, not the top 4. That was the whole purpose of implementing the playoffs. Expanding the playoffs does not help get to the top 2 teams.
The problem with expanding the playoffs is that more spots creates more controversy. There are many more teams that can argue that they are in the top 8 than in the top 4. It’s a never ending cycle of expansion because the people that are trying to solve the problem just end up creating more problems.
I think you guys are missing the bigger picture. McMurphy is insinuating that Ohio State is complicit in creating a backstory that allowed Grimes to play at Florida without having to sit out a year for transferring. In exchange, Grimes would not make his allegations public.
He was an American hero before serving a day in the senate. His actions while in office are an example of what politics in this country should be: noble, principled people standing up for what they feel is right. He put country ahead of politics.
Thank you for your service John McCain. May you Rest In Peace.
You can go on the StockX website and view the sales history. The only thing you can really discern is the shoe size of the pairs sold and quantity. There are some big shoe sizes on here
Sources tell ESPN that school exclusives made for basketball teams are generally limited to 50 pairs, while football-team exclusives are in the 200-300 range.
Ablauf said Michigan players sign a form that acknowledges that selling the shoes would jeopardize their eligibility. The shoes are also marked by the equipment staff with the player's name or uniform number, making it more difficult to sell them anonymously.
What an honor it is to have a thread on the MGoBlog message board. Mason Cole must be swelling with pride to join the ranks of apparel threads, posbangs, and Game of Thrones discussions (with spoilers).
I don't think we need more sports statues. I'm curious what the breakdown of professions receiving statues has been over the century and what that says about us as a society.
I assumed that I was going to hate this, but I was pleasantly surprised. I would be interested to see the back of the jersey. Still I hope Michigan doesn’t wear these.
For whatever reason, I think the dark colored endzones look better on grass fields. I'm not sure what it is, but on fieldturf they just look kinda cheap.
I was watching the Penn State-OSU game and thinking about how much I loved PSU's classic field design. Everything about it is just boiled down to it's simplest form.

I think I saw one of the linemen wearing a similar “blue collar” jacket in the press conference after the OSU game

Meh... seems like an over reaction
Does the NCAA have guidelines for suspension lengths? I was under the impression that it is at the school’s discretion when they self report.
I wouldn’t assume Michigan will give the same suspension lengths as UNC.
I was figuring the size 16s would be for some sort of giant.
Maybe I just have small feet.... and you know what they say about guys with small feet

I’m taking a little comfort in this statement:
Probably, but how many pairs did Harbaugh give the pope? I bet it was him.
Is there a part 2 to the interview? Seems like it cut out abruptly.
This has to be the same guy that posted the other monkey video...right?
I hope he wins, but the ESPYs have to be the dumbest awards ever created.

Well she must do something to keep in shape with that spinner figure of hers.
Completely agree, wish they still had natural grass though.
