if the score stays close to what it is now.
I think we should move up to top 17 or 18
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:42 PM ^
#19 for sure...but yeah maybe 17-18 will be fun to see
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:44 PM ^
Yeah, I'm thinking 18-19. After a victory next week, M will be top 15.
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:49 PM ^
Prob half the teams in top 15 lose again next week so could be higher!
NW will be ranked 10ish with all these upsets.
Honestly if you beat #10/11 NW and #2 back to back and your 1 loss is top 10 Utah you are talking #7, #8 in potentially 2 weeks.
October 3rd, 2015 at 11:57 PM ^
vs. top 25 teams Cal and ASU, they'll be top 5, maybe higher, after two more weeks.
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:42 PM ^
Clemson doesn't want to win this freaking game for some reason
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:43 PM ^
UCLA making a comeback here against ASU.
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:45 PM ^
by ND, they needed that
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:48 PM ^
ND needs an "L" and that's it
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:46 PM ^
Like the aggression ASU
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:46 PM ^
and a healthy Smith, we can beat anyone
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:57 PM ^
Honestly, 11-1 wouldn't be out of the question
October 3rd, 2015 at 11:05 PM ^
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:47 PM ^
They'll remain 2nd in total defense behind BC who had too much of a lead to catch this week. They'll pass West Virginia, BC and Wisconsin to be 2nd in scoring defense, behind Northwestern.
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:51 PM ^
...but, but, but Ohio State has the best defense in the nation.

Eastern Kentuckys beating Kentucky. Haven't they been beating up SEC teams this year?
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:51 PM ^
Everyone is beating up on SEC teams this year
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:52 PM ^
No they lost 35-0 to NC State last week.
Thhat is a horrid result for UK.
Western Kentucky is at least a viable team. Eastern? NO
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:50 PM ^
Iowa will be ranked ahead of us. They'll be 19 and we'll be 20 or 21.
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:51 PM ^
I don't like Jim Mora

snapped out of end zone for safety? on purpose?

Disagree with that idea of Mora.

Yeah, tough call to make. The UCLA defense would have needed a 3 and out if they would have punted it away.

No confidence in the punter apparently lol
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:54 PM ^
Purposely snapped the ball out of the endzone for a safety. I've never seen that before.

Clemson wants to lose this game
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:55 PM ^
Mental exercise - forget the next 2-3 years. If you could have had Josh rosen or Jake rudock for just this year knowing the defense we have, who do you take? To win in 2015.

That's a great question. I'm not at all equipped to answer it (haven't watched more than a couple of minutes of UCLA this year) but I'm curious what others would say.
October 3rd, 2015 at 11:01 PM ^
I am going back and forth myself .... we were supposedly #2 in his recruitment. No brained on 3 yr horizon but this year rosen gives you a worse floor (that said rudock has had a worse floor than Iowa 2014) but much much higher ceiling.
October 3rd, 2015 at 11:04 PM ^
That's the crazy thing about Rudock this year. You figure that he won't blow anyone away, but he won't make disastrous plays either. He actually has made quite a few disastrous (or near disastrous) plays, but we've managed to win anyway. But I can't really complain too much--this team looks a lot better than I expected. And unlike last year, their wins are actually convincing. How many of those wins last year did you breathe a sigh of relief realizing how easily it could have gone the other way?
October 3rd, 2015 at 11:08 PM ^
But the wins are due to stellar D not rudock IMO.
And anyone watching the games sees so many near miss mistakes. Could have had 5-6 more TOs this year if he was playing better teams.
The thing that shocked me is guy cant get past the 1st read. Thought he was a much better reader of the game and a "progression guy" who dumps it short on 3rd progression. But its mostly 1st progression or bust like Devin was.
October 3rd, 2015 at 11:22 PM ^
That's what worries me a bit--he has a lot of TOs, but could have had more. (Though, in his defense, some weren't really on him, like the INT today that the receiver had and it was basically pulled out of his hands.)
Oooo--Clemson INT against ND--YES!!!!
October 3rd, 2015 at 11:02 PM ^
October 3rd, 2015 at 11:07 PM ^
Right--but Alum96's question was about this year alone, forgetting about the next 3 years. Then it's not so clear.

Clemson needs at least a freaking FG to give them some cushion. Clemson are notorious choke artists
October 3rd, 2015 at 10:57 PM ^
gotta stay within 11 ND, more schadenfreude

Pac 12 south is brutal because on any given Sat the "bad" teams like ASU and Zona can put up 35 on you if their Qb gets hot. No break in that division not named Colo.
