They'll remain 2nd in total defense behind BC who had too much of a lead to catch this week. They'll pass West Virginia, BC and Wisconsin to be 2nd in scoring defense, behind Northwestern.

Mental exercise - forget the next 2-3 years.  If you could have had Josh rosen or Jake rudock for just this year knowing the defense we have, who do you take?  To win in 2015.

That's the crazy thing about Rudock this year. You figure that he won't blow anyone away, but he won't make disastrous plays either. He actually has made quite a few disastrous (or near disastrous) plays, but we've managed to win anyway. But I can't really complain too much--this team looks a lot better than I expected. And unlike last year, their wins are actually convincing. How many of those wins last year did you breathe a sigh of relief realizing how easily it could have gone the other way?

But the wins are due to stellar D not rudock IMO.

And anyone watching the games sees so many near miss mistakes.  Could have had 5-6 more TOs this year if he was playing better teams.

The thing that shocked me is guy cant get past the 1st read.  Thought he was a much better reader of the game and a "progression guy" who dumps it short on 3rd progression.  But its mostly 1st progression or bust like Devin was.

That's what worries me a bit--he has a lot of TOs, but could have had more. (Though, in his defense, some weren't really on him, like the INT today that the receiver had and it was basically pulled out of his hands.)

Oooo--Clemson INT against ND--YES!!!!

Pac 12 south is brutal because on any given Sat the "bad" teams like ASU and Zona can put up 35 on you if their Qb gets hot.  No break in that division not named Colo.
