Jabrill continues to demonstrate an unwavering faith in his abilities combined with an understanding that he has much to learn and do before he can take his place among the greats.  If he is truly running a 4.32 at his size, he will be on the field this fall.  That said, if he is committed to learning the defensive schemes and he can actually do it, he will be a big contributor.

Everything points to Jabrill being a special player who makes an early impact.  I can't wait to see it happen.

The good news is that I am pumped for the upcomming season at Michigan. The bad news is that I just tackled three random passers by and might be serving a jail sentence when the season starts.

Love this kid already. Can't wait to see him play. He seems humble and level-headed and ready to work hard. I am excited to see the kind of impact not only his play, but his attitude might have on the rest of the team - hopefully it's infectious. How many more days? 79?? Every summer I end up wishing away the whole summer, just waiting for football and cider mills to start. haha!

Article confirms that he really is invested in Michigan as a university. He spoke on that unidentifiable team-like substance we put on the field last year and also tampering expectations for this year. He's not worried about if we're 12-0, he's worried about helping us improve. If we lose a game, he's not going to transfer to Alabama. Can't wait to watch this guy grow!

is that it can help you overcome mistakes.  With that speed, he lowers the risk of making a mistake a costly mistake.  Mature kid.  He understands he is a freshman and starting at the bottom, not at the top.

Really can't recall how Lammar was rated in respect to fellow lbers his sr. season of h.s., but do know he was the no.1 rated player in MI and as a 5 star, was probably among the top five nationally at his position.

I remember reading his height, weight, etc., and there was a lot of speculation that he might outgrow the lber position which more than likely would have placed him at DE if that had turned out to be true.  Also recall much talk going around about how he'd probably be ready by mid-season to start contributing to the defense. I must say I wasn't really shocked to see him starting the very first game that year, but I would by lying if I said I wasn't surprised at just how physically mature he was, given the fact he had just joined the team in the fall and hadn't really had time to benefit from weight training yet.  That young man was a stud at 18 years old and in regard to their respective positions, I believe Mr. Peppers is every bit ready from a strength and hitting standpoint as Woodley was for the size of the players he had to fend off to make the tackle or alter the play via a hurried pass or forcing an unwise cut from a RB.  I believe Jabrill has the chance, despite our loaded depth chart-been awhile since we've been able to say that-at the db position to be even more disrusptive. He'll have roughly a ten yard gallop to the ball once he makes the read and arrives at the ballcarrier. In Michigan's case I'd have to compare him to the way Dufek laid people out, including 250 RBs from State. From an overall BIG standpoint, it would not surprise me to hear the announcers start comparing him to Tatum from OSU as to the ferocity and bad intentions he hits people with almost from the time he gets his first start.

As to Mallory, working within the guidelines set forth by Mattison, he'll be able to do some really creative things given the aforementioned depth and the addition of a new player that hits like a lber and possesses the speed of an elite wideout or tailback.  This kid, not unlike Charles, has the chance to make fans wish for UM's defense to take the field due to nothing else but the excitement level he brings. A very rare quality for one player to possess, the ability to add a chapter to the defensive playbook devoted to his abilities alone. Plus the fact, he appears to be a genuinely nice, very mature young man. Can't wait until he puts on that winged helmet and adds to his arsenal because of the widely accepted truth of the magic that is contained within that distinct headgear.
