It looks like it's going to be a wet one in both games tonight.

Arizona @ Carolina - 4:20PM ET on ESPN

Baltimore @ Pittsburgh - 8:15PM ET on NBC

To be fair, though, I have never heard of the rule and I watch entirely too much football. So I won't throw stones on that one. However, Arizona didn't recover it so it was stupid in that sense.
My question is how could you possibly know there was going to be a receiver in the area? It should still be grounding.

Arizona challenged that cam newton threw a backwards pass as he was being swung around, but by rule if a pass only goes backwards because the qb is being spun by a defender, then it's not a backwards pass. (Not to mention it was also a shameful challenge because Arizona never clearly recovered the ball)

Also could Logan Thomas really be any worse?  Would it hurt to give him a chance?  You spent a draft pick on him and its obvious Lindley is not an NFL QB.

The record for fewest yards gained in a playoff game is 86.  Arizona is at 70.  They should avoid the record with garbage time yards, but wow that offense is awful.
