New offer: 2025 QB Stone Saunders
After not sending out any 2025 offers until a couple days ago, Michigan has now offered three class of 2025 quarterbacks. The latest is Harrisburg (PA) Bishop McDevitt quarterback Stone Saunders, who is the son of Baltimore Ravens S&C coach Steve Saunders.
The question was asked in another couple threads about whether Michigan normally offers kids who haven't played in high school yet, and yes, that has become the norm to an extent, especially with quarterbacks.
Southfield QB Isaiah Marshall (2024) was offered in 7th grade.
Detroit King QB Dante Moore (2023) was offered in 2018.
So we are obviously lagging behind on 2030 offers, geez!
Now I'm a little worried that my 11 year old doesn't have a single offer yet.

Middle school recruiting in my mind is absurd, but football news is football news I guess.
Yes, this is technically recruiting news, but an offer to a kid yet to get to HS is about as irrelevant as recruiting news can get.
