The Gator Bowl had an opening and Schiano's boys were ready!

Ironically, the Big Ten team not slated for a bowl game but perhaps the likeliest to win might be Nebraska.

At some point they're going to win one of those kick-in-the-gut, last minute losses.

I have come to accept Rutgers in the B1G as they are no longer the tire fire they were. They probably will be at least 4-7 wins for football and not the worst team in the conference in basketball. Every conference has bottom feeders but I think they’ve at least moved past the perennial 14th team. Capable of a surprising 9 win football season and a 1 maybe 2 on the bubble season in basketball

"I've...seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. I witnessed Omicron deliver a Gator Bowl invite despite a 5-7 record. All those moments will be lost it time like...tears...in...rain."
