New Adidas Jerseys
I do prefer the newer tighter fit jerseys to last years looser fitting jerseys, but watching the game on TV this week, I couldn't help but notice that the numbers on the sholders are easily skewed. It is if they are too tight and anytime the jerseys are grabbed and pulled on (which is pretty much every play) they become out of place. I can't count how many times the sholder pads were out of the jerseys, the numbers on the sholders looked funny b/c they were stretched out, etc. They just do not seem to stay on the way they are supposed to after any type of game action and I thought they looked tacky after awhile. Anyone else notice this? Thoughts?
Seems like Adidas should be able to get the cut right and the material right to make these jerseys on par with their Nike counterparts.

The stitching on the jersey lettering was also terrible... you could see it coming out on every single jersey out there.

I don't know if it is a side effect, or an inconsequential side effect.
Both school's jerseys UTL were getting torn.
The TechFit seem to be sisposble product. Weare them for one game, then done. *sigh*

Well played, sir.
I do like the design (duh), just the cut and stitching are lacking.

Everyone needs to stop with the hate on the MSU jerseys. They are cool and Michigan fans just look like stupid homers hating on them.

It's not homerism, they do look rediculous. Just like every other pro combat design. If you aren't even using your school colors, it's dumb. It was dumb when Oregon started it. It was dumb when other Nike schools did it. There's a reason no uniforms have looked like that until now. They look horrible.

i disagree, how would you feel if adidas changed one of our colors to something completely different, like silver and blue? Although the jerseys themselves look alright, their colors are green and white. Looks like they'll have to change their chant to "Go Green, Go Bronze!"

Except they aren't. They are ugly, just like every other crazy combo Nike/Under Armor has come up with.

waiting to see if these will be made availiable to the public. I have called the Mden many times and they have no clue, but i am not expecting to see them sold anywhere. I love Adidas Techfit stuff.

look horrible without shoulder pads. I crack up when I see big guys wear these things. It highlights the man boobs.

Exactly. I'd rather not see the chubby dudes that sit by me wearing skin tight clothing. The phrase 10lbs of shit in a 5lb bag comes to mind.

jerseys. We saw the jerseys ripping left and right and last week and this week the jereseys were just messed up all over.

Since these so-called tech-fit jerseys are made of extremely lightweight and stretchy fabric, the result is a featherweight snug fit… until blocking and tackling commence, when the thing is skewed and stretched and even ripped. These seem more suited for cheerleaders, especially during rainy games.

And they need to wear white ones

So I take it you guys would have rather seen Denard get sacked than his jersey rip on that pass to Hemmingway? In a way its a strategic advantage to have jerseys rip rather than allowing players be dragged down by them. Just ask Tom Harmon.

We need to bring back the onesie-esque buttoned crotch.

It probably kept denard from sailing his throw.

Part of the reason that the jerseys are ataying deformed is that the players are using two sided tape to keep the jersey stuck to the pads and make it harder for he other team to get ahold of them. Because of the tape when the jeseys are pulled they stay held in a streched fashion by that tape.

in the miss america pageant when they use tape to keep the bikini bottom covering the buns.

Maybe they're designed to be tearaway, or it has something to do with using lighter weight material in order to improve cooling. Marketing win! Either way, probably appear to the average joe to be poorly constructed.
