National championship tattoo, who's in?
Harbaugh is getting his first tattoo to commemorate the championship and 1,000 wins. Who else is doing it?

“I did say that to our players. I said, ‘We go 15–0, I’m getting a tattoo, that’s, 15–0.’ I’m going to put it on—probably the shoulder, I don’t know if it’s my left or my right yet. Right-handed quarterback, I’ll probably get it on my right. And then an ‘M,’ an ‘M’ that’ a Maize and Blue ‘M.’ Also that signifies 1000 in Roman numerals,” Harbaugh said.

a good artist is only needed if you want intricate shading and line work
you only need an artist that isn't horrible to get a block M or a 15-0

Nope. No matter how small or simple the tattoo always go for a good artist. Even small tattoos can be terribly done.

Not me. I am a super fan but altering my body to celebrate a team victory no matter how good I feel is a rash move.
The season is tattooed in history where it should remain.

Only if you smoke weed with your artist before they begin (you'll focus on the pain).
Also, don't trust your tattoo work to an artist that doesn't light up before going to work.

Nah. I had a 10 hour calf piece done and we smoked before, during a few times, and after. Probably location but barely felt it.
Probably distracted from the pain though, as I was watching college football on my phone the whole time

well, as someone with 17 (18? I dunno) of them …. yes.
i mean they’re drawing on your skin with needles moving at about 4k - 10k rpm
also depends quite a bit on your pain tolerance and how long your body keeps the endorphins going. I fell asleep while I got the entire left side of my chest tattooed.

It depends. My right arm is almost completely covered and I could have slept through those sessions.
I recently got a half sleeve done and that artist had a heavier hand. Hours 5-7 were unfun.
