MSU's Draymond Green comments on every Big Ten-ish team for ESPN The Mag

Here's what he had to say about UM's basketball team:

Michigan
Don't count them out. Their guys fit Coach Beilein's methodical system.

Here's a link to the article (170 players also voted on who the best coach, best player, etc. are), but you have to be an ESPN insider to view it:

I'll admit that I'm a bandwagon basketball fan. When we were beating UCLA, I turned the game on. One of my roommates asked me who Stu Douglass was. I didn't know and my other roommate said "he's the white 3-point specialist". He then proceded to sink 3 after 3.

So, I agree with your statement.

To be fair, he did say "don't count them out," meaning he has some respect for UM's slow white guys.

It could've been much worse... here's what he had to say about Iowa and Penn state:

Iowa
They brought in Fran McCaffery and need a fresh start.

Penn State
Battle, as in Talor Battle. Not a defensive battle.

That Draymond Green was headed here until MSU sent him a last minute offer. He is as slow as they come but would have been great in Maize and Blue. Also, the demographics of our team are rapidly changing as Hardaway, Horford, Christian, Burke and Brundidge are definitely not slow white guys.

I find it difficult to dislike Green.   Smart player, gets a lot of his talent (but might be too much of a tweener for the NBA) and is always insightful and funny in interviews.  Too bad he went Green (pun intended).
