MRob sooner than we think?

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?name=Midwest_Recruiting I know this has been discussed a lot, but I hadn't seen this quote with the "next few weeks" line from ESPN yet. "Michigan right now is definitely my leader," Robinson said. "After Michigan are Georgia and Alabama. Tennessee is next, then South Florida. I might decide during the spring. I could commit to Michigan in the next couple weeks."

As has been said repeatedly, in all likelihood he is a silent commit; meaning that he has informed RR of his commitment to UM, but has elected to not publicly announce due to the fact that his coach is an assbag (i mean this in the nicest way possible)

There are more issues with this situation than what we're discussing, but take a look at what you said. Imagine if someone asked him why he was transferring. "Well, I want to play football at Michigan and my coach is an OSU fan, so I made my parents buy a new house in a different neighborhood and I'm going to make all new friends. Because my coach is an OSU fan. I did all that because my coach likes the Buckeyes. Oh my god I'm an idiot." Maybe he should just suck it up and play football and then do whatever the hell he wants after he graduates early. Why should he transfer? Just so he can be a public commit and put all the worrying Michigan fans' minds to rest? That sounds like a good reason.

Right now he has UofM #1 with Georgia and Alabama in his top 5 without offering. I know many have him as a silent commit, but any worry about either of these schools if they do offer?

My amateur opinion is that he's blue all the way. Call me stupid, but I'm more confident about M-Rob coming here than I am Gardner (I'm not trying to cause a stir about Gardner... from what I hear he sounds solid). It just seems to be an issue with his coach and potential negative recruiting that makes him not want to commit publicly, which, I could be interpreting wrong but, if a kid doesn't want to publicly commit because he doesn't want to hear people say bad things about a school, that makes him sound in love, which would be difficult to break.

I see it as a positive for UM that Marvin is listing different schools every time he gives a new list. The only teams that seem to consistently be on his list are: UM and USF, and I REALLY doubt that he is going to USF.

when the coach threatens his scholarship to Michigan, Marvin Robinson could rebel and get his teammates to go along with him by refusing to play unless the coach leaves. Then Ricardo could come down and coach the team from the sidelines. Oh wait, that was Varsity Blues.
