More Confirmed Early Enroll Numbers
Thanks to the official site's "Wolverine Welcome" feature, we have more confirmed uniform numbers:
Anthony LaLota will wear #90.

Big Will will wear #73.
Vlad wants to wear the #5 also, but we'll have to wait and see.
Expect the #1 to go unused again (if I had to predict, I'd say it goes unworn until 2011, to Ricardo).

double-checked... it's the 5 Emilien wants. I knew it was a single digit. I'm guessing he doesn't get it.
We all know about how numbers get assigned double, but you know the potential studs prefer to keep it all to themselves... For example, I think we'd all be shocked to see anyone on offense get a #6 this year

also has to do with Donovan Warren's flirtations with kick and punt returning. You wouldn't want to give that number to an offensive player that might be playing special teams.

This might come down to the difference between fast and quick. I think the big draw with VS wasn't that he had amazing speed (thought still quite good) but that he was shifty as a MFer. He looks like one of those guys whose first 3 steps are quick as hell and can change directions on a dime.

Could be wrong, but if my memory still works I think the deal was that if no one was wearing the #1 on any given year, it'll go to another athlete on the team.
Right? Wrong?
