Henne,Long, Harris, Braylon, Feely all playing tonight. Henne looks good so far. Doesn't hurt when ur running for an asston every play.
Is the ref speaking Spanish? Was only 1/2 paying attention so was just wondering.
Was just discussing this with a friend. Funny situation could pan out, Long blocks for Henne so he can throw it to Ginn who then gets taken down by Gholston
and Vernon "fing" Gholston on D... with Ted Ginn in there too....lol
and Hartline on Miami
Powerful TD drive there by Miami.
David Harris too unless he isnt playing, missed the starters introduction
he's playing. he was mentioned at some point.
in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month
so i was quite pleased to see Jake Long and Chad Henne come to Miami. Saw them while in grad school now i can see them on Sundays.
Edit: He got 2 feet down, Tirico. I still don't like you since the 2005 Alamo Bowl.
I don't really understand where the problem is. Does he have to get two different feet on the ground, or can it be the same foot twice? I thought it didn't matter.
Best part about that was that he beat Will Allen on that TD.
Huh, Tirico, who lives in AA, always seems fair to Michigan..what did he do this game? I didn't get to see it, I was at the game, and it got deleted accidentally off my dvr when I got back. (Though I had drinks with him and various other media types at the bar down there...he seemed liked a good guy).
Nice catch by Braylon...used his hands well. TD
This is the weirdest situation imaginable. Edwards, who was probably the best wideout Henne ever threw to, scoring TDs against his team..
great play by henne. didnt panic. thats Michigan education for you
wooooooo 59 yard pass for Chad Henne (of which all was YAC lol)!!
Go Ricky Williams, i always liked him
Seemed a bit slow IMO, Brown woulda had that no problem
from Henne. Frickin' buckeye's. Nice to see Braylon get the TD after all his recent troubles. Wish he wasn't getting all this negative pub. (whether it is his fault or not).
I'm impressed by the new kid, Dan Henne, the Dolphin's have at QB. Jaws keeps raving about his skills. Strangely enough, his rugged visage seems remarkably familiar. Did he perchance have a brother or a cousin that played for Michigan?
Seriously though, I'm curious when some producer is going to smack Jaworski upside the head.
I believe he was saying Dan Henning, who is the Dolphins offensive coordinator.
Just caught that when there was a little more context on the last Henning praise.
Way to go ears, way to go.
No, I don't think so. There was a Chad Henry here for a while though.
Anyone notice in the pregame when they showed Braylon warming up and the announcer mentioned all of his drops as Braylon dropped a ball? Talk about an announcer jinx.
Pretty annoying how obsessed announcers are with Sanchez...Henne getting comparatively very little chatter. Will be interesting to compare Henne's and Sanchez's stats at the end of the season. I'm betting Henne's are more impressive.
As someone who lives in NYC, Sanchez has received an inordinate amount of buzz considering what he has actually accomplished. People talk about him in the safe breath as guys like Brees, both Mannings, Brady, etc., even though he had one reasonably successful year in college and then didn't crap the bed against 3 of the 4 teams on the schedule so far. The Jets were 9-7 last year with a broken-down Brett Favre, and now they have a very good defensive head coach and a defense that fits what he wants to do. Sanchez has played well for a rookie, but he's no better than Henne or Stafford based on actual field performance (and I would argue a bit behind Stafford given the relative teams).
I'm curious what the Dolphins would look like with a reasonable deep threat. Everytime I see Chad drop back, he looks down field then checks down. Because the NFL is miserably tight with it's camera coverage, it's hard to tell, but his receivers seem to lack the ability to stretch the field or even get open on deep routes.
Frankly, I'm surprised the Dolphins didn't go after Braylon.
taking cues from Pam Ward in the Big Ten
Glad to see that Gruden isn't afraid to tell him when he's wrong.
What a fucking catch. Wow.
Yeah, that's the Braylon I remember. Good times.
Catch of the year so far. This is a great game.
Exactly, Henne doesn't have any deep threats--and the Dolphins apparently tried to get Braylon last year but somehow the talks broke down, the Browns wanted Ronnie Brown in return plus something or other.
Braylon shows he can get it done again, when he is motivated....
Kudos. That one literally made me laugh out loud.
Welcome back, Tacopants.
It makes me puke but holy shit that was beautiful.
Yeah that pass was incredible, brought back some good memories.
Yeah, the Henne / Ginn bump in the end zone was weird.
Henne to Ginn is just Kumbuy-freaking-ya!
thing. I hate the Ginn thing, but seeing Henne having success makes it worth it. Ginn kind of needed to redeem himself after that pitiful fricking blocking effort on the WR screen.
Only thing that will top this off is a TD pass to Hartline. Bizarro Football!
Henne's first career touchdown was to hartline, which was his first career touchdown as well.
I was referring to this game. Sorry
Anyone else really like them?
I like Dolphins orange, Broncos orange, and Seahawks lime greens a lot.
Now we need maize jerseys. Kidding.
