MLive score predictions for Michigan vs Middle Tennessee: video

They all have a closer game than I think will happen. I think Michigan will win by 40 or more. Michigan's defense may even pitch a shut out with to the rebuilt Middle Tennessee offense. But if Michigan starts slow with the new offense, until they get their sea legs under them, it will be closer, like they are saying.

I literally am hoping the offense comes out on fire and scores 21 in the first qtr. A guy can hope, eh?

I'll call a 52-14 game. I don't think Michigan will pour it on, but they won't call off the dogs of war until they hit the half century mark. I think Gattis will be out to prove a point about his competence as a playcaller. Even when Dylan and Joe come into the game, he'll let them get a taste of what's it's like to thrive in this offense.

I give you 41-10. That one receiver they have is for real, and he’s going to catch whoever isn’t Lavert Hill in a flat out blown assignment for a huge gain. Two FGs from moderate range, so we don’t learn much about our kickers, two TDs in the ground and one in the air. Charbonnet doesn’t get the start, but has a good number of runs for a healthy average, and also breaks two big ones. Looks like your future starter. Receiving corps and Shea have some rust and some snafus. Don’t worry about them one bit though, despite a pick due to miscommunication. Maybe not Alabama or Clemson, but a pretty darn respectable opening nonetheless.

I'll say 48-17. The offense will be a tad slow coming out of the gate and people will lose their minds over it, but the game will essentially be over somewhere between halftime and midway through the third quarter.

I do think MTSU will put up some points because they do have a pretty legit #1 receiver in Ty Lee. Currently the active NCAA leader in receptions, played pretty well last year, and will have a legit shot to play on Sundays. I think he'll make a couple of plays, especially against a secondary that has a few question marks right now. But its not going to be enough, because MTSU is replacing so much else on its offense.
