1. Thank you for the info and the correctly imbedded links OP, job well done!

2. Any chance you could summarize what they're saying for the benefit of those of us unable to turn our computer speakers on lest everyone around us here at work find out we're really not working?

Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

What I've seen on the interwebs:

JJ is wearing a visor? Looks cool, but just for practice?

Underwood seems like he's being respectful to the local program but isn't going to end up here.

Georgia WR commit could possibly flip? We need some WR talent badly in the class.

I think its genuine interest to an extent. but if you read his comments about why he came back to the bbq... granted, quotes on the internet are often 1) wrong and 2) out of context .. and we dont know what he said it in response to.. but he suggested that UM was begging him to come home so he did it because its "the home town team". It wasn't exactly.. "those are my guys. i have to see them for the big event. cant wait to be with the team and see the dudes. no way i'd miss this."

Underwood needs to look up what Alan Bowman said about the QB coaching at Michigan. Not every flashy offense is preparing these guys for the NFL. Yes, the stats look great in these pass happy offenses but it takes more than being able to throw the ball to play QB at the next level. I am not saying Michigan is the only place where he can get that coaching but I haven't seen anything from Brian Kelly QBs, for example, to suggest he knows what the fuck he is doing when it comes to QB development.

He also made a comment about seeing the offense this season. I think he wants to see a more balanced offense and I can’t blame him.  I think with JJ being in his third year, we should see a more diversified offense this year, not that we are going to sling it around or anything though.

It'll be a shame if we can't land Underwood. The state of Michigan does not produce highly ranked QBs that often. However, in the 2023, '24, & '25 class we have had the best 3 HS QBs out of Michigan in decades; 2 5* and one legacy high-4*. To not land any of of them will be discouraging to say the least.

Unfortunately, I agree. I just wish I didn't though! Michigan is playing at  level we haven't seen in 25 years, and they can't sign top level talent like they used too. Remember when Michigan would lose 2 or 3 games a year that they shouldn't, and still landed the likes of Chad Henne and Ryan Mallet?

Development can only take you so far. Pretty soon JJ, Donovan and Will Johnson will be in the NFL. Who will replace them?

If Underwood is still a 5* at the time of his commitment, I assume he will expect to be PAID for his commitment like pretty much every other 5* in the NIL era. If UM still won't participate in the pay for play game like most of the other big time programs, I don't see how they have much chance of landing Underwood.

In other words, I will be shocked if Underwood ends up at UM.

I guess I don’t see why people have all the sudden became so negative about Bryce. There has literally been nothing about him asides out of context (cryptic?) message about coming back? It’s down to UM and LSU. It’s been pretty clear he wants to see how Michigan throws the ball. Which to be fair, def should given the way football is going and UM can’t even get a top 150 WR. It’s also been speculative that him (and others) are waiting to see how the NIL approach will be based off Davis and co. There’s nothing to worry about at this point imo and I’m sure he’ll visit UM 5 more times before 1/09. This is very much Aaron Scott picturesque type theories

Thanks.

Too bad though that we've left the good old days when there was nothing to read about football till the fall . . .

Wait! What am I saying?! Screw them good ol' days. Hurray today, for the clips and smotheringD.
