John Beilein continues his absolutely horrendous game management. His substitution patterns are fucking horrible and he doesn't know how to control momentum. He never takes a timeout to help stop it. Needed one early in the 2nd half when it was clear we were losing control. And we have no star to take an important shot. The 2 games in NY appear to be a mirage. I don't think this team is any better than last year's mediocre bunch.

This team has no leaders and no fire.  They look uninterested in playing and I dont see any leadership in Walton or Irvin whatsover.  JB has to take responsibility for this.  Very disappointing and like above posters mentioned, this looks like another bubble team at best.

the Wife said (not a good sign) ... "why the heck didn't JB call a time out and run a play to win the game?" Having Irvin dribble around and throw up some lame duck was way too weird. Plus,WTF was wrong with DJ Wilson ? Is he Bipolar our on maybe on drugs? It was really strange how he couldn't connect to reality.

Watching Indiana up 13 on North Carolina right now.  Indiana might physally injure our inside players they are so much more athletic than us across the board.

Wait, so in one week I had to watch a team pretty much dominate until the last minute and then lose? Who was the asshole with all the bad karma in AA?

I'm disappointed in the result, but I think Virgina Tech is good team this year. These kinds of losses happen in basketball. We are 2-2 against quality opponents. We have a couple more opportunities before Big Ten play against Texas and UCLA. I want to see how they year shakes out before I jump on a fire Beilein train. His teams get better during the year, losing a game like this may create a sense of urgency for the team.
