They like hearing the roar of the crowd instead of boos.

need to grow a pair and do something. to think this team is hanging in there with nothing from irvin/walton/spike is nothing short of unbelievable.

Freshman Irvin was far better than freshman Chatman. Chatman can't even crack our worst lineup since the Douglass/Novak days.
January 20th, 2015 at 8:16 PM ^
check the stats, Irvin was way better than Chatman is. Chatman can't even make a layup with his off-hand.

I've seen in a very long time. Stu used to have a funk or two like that, but this was unbelievable (as detailed above).

Nice Walton Jr., first basket and a big one.
January 20th, 2015 at 8:09 PM ^
I'd rather have that foul than an easy 2, decent.
January 20th, 2015 at 8:11 PM ^
Especially when he misses both foul shots.
January 20th, 2015 at 8:10 PM ^
still this stretch of horror continues and it's unbelievable.

half then.
He's really, really hurt us here.
January 20th, 2015 at 8:10 PM ^
Yikes. Those looked like Ben Wallace free throws when he was with the Pistons. But I'll take it.
January 20th, 2015 at 8:11 PM ^
Irvin, holy balls
Another wide open miss

They're giving it their all right now and respect needs to be shown

Unless they have Ebola, they're still playing pretty badly.

Maybe but that's only because I'm a ballet dancer.

What was the excuse for losing to NJIT at home? To Eastern at home? We don't have a good basketball team this year, it is what it is.

Us having a bad basketball team has everything to do with tonight, as it does with each game. It sucks, but all the NBA attrition has caught up with us and we're down this year.

I'm following the game via ESPN Gamecast. What a bizarre way to follow a basketball game. We're 7-24 (0.292 Pct) from 3. If we could just get that up to 35%. That's not asking too much, is it?
January 20th, 2015 at 8:16 PM ^
another rebound and a 3!!
January 20th, 2015 at 8:16 PM ^
Shit announcers say: "When their 3s go in, they look really good!"
January 20th, 2015 at 8:16 PM ^
That was very nearly a death to backboards moment...
January 20th, 2015 at 8:17 PM ^
48-42, good guys. 3 minutes to go. Just make our FTs...
January 20th, 2015 at 8:17 PM ^
Rutgers doesn't belong in the B10!
Anyone want to start that up?
January 20th, 2015 at 8:18 PM ^
I don't think any Michigan fan can talk down to Maryland or Rutgers considering we lost to both of them in football and will probably lose to MD in basketball as well.
January 20th, 2015 at 8:26 PM ^
You'll find no disagreement here

If they can't beat this injured, sickly Michigan team at home; then the people that say that may have a point.

- Walton - Looks like Walton is still hurting with that toe. I am not saying he was super explosive to begin with but take a look at some of the games last year and he was much quicker and explosive a year ago. I think this toe injury will be a season long thing...
- Irvin - have they messed with his shot during the offseason? He still has a bit of an awkward motion, but it seems it was more pronounced last year. It is like with Joakim Noah of the Bulls, he has a horrible motion, but it works for him and the coaches let it be. I feel like the coaches have tweaked too much of Irvin's shot and that is part of the reason he is so cold from the Arch this year.
- Spike - Look, i love the guy just like everyone else, but with the season turning out the way it is, i don't like how many minutes he is playing. He is best suited for spot duty, not 25+ a game. I know you are thinking, oK then, but who plays his minutes then....See next point
- Freshman - I know its been a rough start to the year for these guys, but lets be honest about this years team. We are not very good. This is not a Tournament team and even if we make it, without Levert, we are not going past the first weekend. So, because of that, play the freshman as many minutes as we can. None of them can redshirt anyways since they played too many minutes already this season. they need to take their lumps and that is the only way they are going to improve. Let Dawkins, MAAR and Chaptman play as many minutes as possible. I would rather see them just get their tail kicked now and learn from it.
January 20th, 2015 at 8:21 PM ^
He'll be back next year so I don't understand giving his minutes to freshmen. If he's the best option, play him. He'll be a senior leader next year.

TO here and set up a play
