as a one trick pony. Maybe all this time thinking it was DRob, maybe it was DRob making Borges look good all this time.

If a system is good, it really shouldn't matter who steps in. I understand DRob is dynamic and I've done my share of wrecking his terrible passing, but this game has changed my mind that it is more on Borges than it is on DRob.

Terrible in game adjustments and predictable play calling, so much so, a defense torched by most of its opponents is looking like MSU/Alabama/ND

Don't you think our offensive coaches should be responsible for the regression in the OL?  We recognize the positive effects of Mattison and Hoke on the DL and D, yet we give Borges and his crew a pass as we regress further and further on offense.  To make sure this post is voted as Flamebait, which all criticism of Borges seems to get, take a look what the Arizona offense (off a 3 win season) did to USC today.  Nebraska hasn't allowed fewer than 20 points to a I-A team all year (and that was to an 0-8 team).   Because Borges has been a coordinator for a long time (e.g., for Gerry DiNardo -- most people forget), people seem to think he is good.  He has never lasted at any stop.

They're Michigan Men, and I love them, but Michigan's OL is just not very good this year.  They've not been able to run block worth a damn, whereas they did quite well last season.  Seems to me that that is just a matter of skill/talent, not coaching.

Borges relied upon DRob's play making capabilities and has been unable to find ways to generate offense apart from his legs and arm punts.

So, tonight, the inability to have any offense come from any other player than DRob is a further tell to the play calling of Borges.

I hope to be able to work from home Monday. The combo of Michigan losing and Notre Dame beating Oklahoma is going to make work on Monday un-doable!

As much as it pains me.....ND is legit. They play legitimate defense and their offense just doesn't beat themselves.

GO BLUE....BEAT MINNESOTA!

We lose Denard, OSU remains undefeated, MSU wins a game they have no business winning, Notre Dame looks legit, and then Hurricane Sandy is going to roll through tomorrow night.

What a horrible fucking weekend.

Is anyone surprised by Hoke's offense?  For better or worse we are back to Michigan football -- above average defense and conservative offense.  Dave Brandon is ok with going 9-3 every year or he would have did whatever it took to get Harbaugh.

Good god!  Will you fucking snowflakes PLEASE shut the fuck up.  We lost our star QB, you know, the guy that is basically our ENTIRE OFFENSE.  What the fuck do you expect?!?  Now Hoke sucks, as does Brandon because he didn't get Harbaugh, fire Borges, fuck fire Mary Sue.  You guys a fucking pathetic.  It's a loss to Nebraska, in Lincoln, at night with Denard out for the majority of the game.

GROW A PAIR!

And what did you see with Denard in that would suggest to you we would even put 20 points on Nebraska, like the 0-8 Southern Miss team did earlier this year (the worst offensive showing against Nebraksa before our West Coast Offense came calling)?

Anyone who has looked at his history realizes that Borges is the weak link in the hiring we did post-RR.  Why is Mattison the highest paid coordinator in the Big Ten?  He's excellent, and good programs want him.  Why has Borges never lasted long at any stop, with a move from the SEC to unemployment for a year to the Mountain West?   They are who we thought they were

Granted, our star QB was out, at night, on the road in Lincoln; but I do expect our coaching staff to have a contigency plan in place and a back-up adequately prepard. Oh, and maybe a little originality in play calling.
