we are 2 deep at every position...If Duncan could ever get back to his first year form we could be deadly BUT thats been a big IF

Starting to feel secure about this one.

Upcoming three game stretch (vs. Purdue, @MSU, vs. Maryland) will be huge. We need to win at least 1/3.

If we win 2/3, we're in conference title contention. Although if the loss is to State, going to be hard. Can't see them losing more than maybe 2 games in the conference.

In addition to being really good, they have one of the easier schedules in the conference. Don't have to go to Purdue or Michigan, which are probably 2 of the 4 top teams.

Really exciting to see the team with success like this, especially in the face of adversity and being down, considering Matthews has been held down by the refs

This officiating is brutal. Illinois should have been called for a foul after Michigan’s missed shot, so instead they get called for a make-up ticky-tack over the back call at the other end. It’s not biased; it’s just bad.

Gives this team valuable experience playing in close games.   On a serious note, I think playing over his role is really hurting him.  Guarding guys bigger than he should probably wears on his legs which affects his shooting.

He should be 8th guy, who comes in for a few minutes with fresh legs and chucks 3's. Anyhing over that is unfair to the kid.

This was not a thing of beauty but They did enough to get the job done..They will need to play their best game to date to beat Purdue, cut down the careless turnovers, Duncan needs to get Hot at some point  Purdue would be a good place to do that..With MSU in EL afterwards beating Purdue would be just HUGE!  Crowd needs to be Bonkers for Purdue..I said the Iowa road game was the Most important game on the schedule and this would be #2..I also think Mo & Teske in at the same time might be a good idea for Purdue and its 2 7  footers

What is the significance of checking Duncan in with 29 seconds left when we are going on DEFENSE?

I think we have a legitimate shot to beat Purdue, especially at home. Wagner will have to play well against their centers. I worry about the MSU game still. The youngs guys haven't played a road game anywhere close to that level yet
