Michigan to the Sweet 16!
Volleyball advances to the sweet 16 on one of the biggest come from behind victories in school history. Down 0-2, Michigan came out of the long break on fire. Rood's knee tweak in the game against Niagara doesn't appear to be a problem.
Michigan won the block battle 17-16. That's got to be a season high.
Paz had 18, Hunt had 16, and Rood had 13 kills. Rood and Bruck had 2 solo blocks a piece, Rood also had 8 block assists. 4 different players had 4 block assists as well (Bruck, Paz, Zimmerman, and Bower).
We're headed to Stanford, opponent is most likely Stanford, but they're taking on St. Mary's (CA) right now for the right to move on.

good news. that program has really come a long way.
...i'm by no means a vball guru...but my gf was offered a spot as a preferred walk-on there out of hs, and instead took a full ride to gvsu bc she said she actually wanted to win (her only d1 offer was eastern). i'll have to rub this in her face asap!
