Apparently if we had just swept PSU and held on against MSU last weekend we'd be 5th in the pairwise. This weekend would've been about getting a 1-seed and not about making the tournament.

I was getting that all too familiar feeling of doom that comes when you can't clear your own zone. Clear it!
They'd been dominating for a while now. Feels like Michigan hasn't had zone time at all since we scored

As frustrating as Guptill has been, he's 6 points away from 100 in his career.
That just makes me more frustrated
I wish we could mix Guptill's skill with Hyman's effort because that franken-player would be an All-American. Guptill can deke in a phonebooth. And don't get me wrong, Guptill's been much better lately but 3 years of Guptill giving an A effort means he would've gone to the NHL a long time ago
Easily could've gone Minnesota's way but Guptill put one in and Nagelvoort stood tall. Just win the game

I dont think you can say this is on Shibrowski as Wilcox probably would've been torched by all of these too. You may be able to chalk it up to Minnesota's other healthy scratches - or maybe we're just playing that well tonight
I kind of want Shibrowski to have an ok game...but at the same time I don't. We need this game. Don't try to use us for a sentimental victory
