Wow what can you say about this team. I'm proud to be a Michigan fan after efforts like this. Nebraska had an off shooting night, but I think that zone had something to do with it.

I don't know how belein found maar Dawkins and spike, who all essentially had no offers and now have them playing together and competing and playing well (2 as freshman) against an actual big10 opponent. Nothing but praise for the players effort, beleins talent identification, and player development. Yes it would have been great to have booker or so, but all coaches miss out on players. I'm
Enjoying the hell out of the teams perseverance.

I wish we would've found out early in the year that Dawkins was better than Chatman right now. We would probably have a much better record. Imagine if the year had began with Dawkins starting instead of Chatman. I think we would’ve had greater success.

Dawkins is definitely the better of the two, but Chatman has to have talent. Maybe riding the pine will motivate him to elevate his game. It might be too late for him this year, but if he can prepare in the offseason and come back ready to play next year it will be a plus.

all around. Led from beginning to end..This defense is proving VERY solid. my only nit pic is like the game against Wisconsin the last few minutes of the first half. We have to learn to keep our foot on the petal. Biefield was HUGE tonight Kudos...I love his hustle, Spike was solid just wish hed get his outside shooting back. MAAR is VERY promising....Good Job Blue!

Don't think too many will question recruiting MAAR and Dawkins now. Wow. Dawkins looks like an early exit threat and MAAR deserves a spot in the rotation regardless of health. Really hoping this team can fight its way into the tourney.
