I don't know anything about hockey but it seems like Michigan is getting dicked with this schedule.

my god the very first comment is playing the victim card, and from a poster that admits he doesn't know a thing about the sport....

The Big Ten schedule that is round robin, 2 home vs 2 away and playing ASU all 4 games at home has a school getting dicked? Unlike football and basketball where every school doesn't play same teams same number of games or same number home and away. Hockey is about as fair of a schedule as you can get. Not sure how someone can assume otherwise.

Only thing that sucks is the last 3 games, which could be crucial, are on the road. But other than that it’s pretty typical. Not getting dicked. College hockey does a pretty good job of preventing people from getting dicked schedule wise ... unless you’re ASU

I admitted my ignorance, I just saw lots of OSU and MSU games. But, interesting to know. I may get more into hockey as time goes on.

Save this thought for the later discussion of playoff venues.

ND broke our spirit. 1-5 since the puck dropped in that series

Freshman gonna freshman, half our talent left to go to the World Juniors for the highest profile weekend of the year so far, and our goalie had an off weekend.
As to the schedule... to me it reads "TV Game, TV Game, TV Game, TV Game, TV Game....".

Not great things.
- Notre Dame's annoying style of hockey stymied us. Both games were close
- Collossal off night in Happy Valley. Really one of the most disastrous games I've ever seen us play
- Playing #1 Minnesota down a lot of our top forwards - granted Minnesota was down guys too, but they're good
So it's concerning, but not disastrous. The schedule is reasonably good coming up as MSU and OSU don't seem very good, and we've been shockingly good in South Bend and then you get another shot at a not-great PSU team at home, so I'd hope the team can come out and go 6-2 at minimum

Time to get that patented Pearson 2nd half surge going and win it all
