I believe Illinois dropped from 4 to 6.  Michigan goes from 5 to 4.

It is interesting to note that Baylor is ahead of us (ranked 2) and we have the identical 10-0 record.  We both have 1 quadrant 1 win.  Yet, Michigan is 5-0 in quadrant 2 wins, Baylor is just 1-0. Im not sure what is propelling Baylor ahead of us in the algorithm.

If you watch Baylor, they pass the eye test way more than we do.  While our team is great, they are filled with gigantic, athletic freaks who can also shoot and play suffocating D.  If you look at Kenpom, they are 3 on O and 5 on defense.  No other team is top five in both, Wisco is the only team top 10 in both, and barely at 10 adjO and 7 adjD.  Tbh, I think Baylor would beat Gonzaga.

I know it says it's been updated "through games Jan. 06 2021" but I don't believe them.

Minnesota wouldn't move up 1 spot (from 32 to 31) after taking that kind of beating.  Michigan State also moved from 109 to 81 since the last rankings, but they didn't play last night (they did thrash Rutgers two nights ago, though).

It seems like they have their website automatically updates the date each new day, but the data is still two days old.

It's a nice feather in the cap but rankings end up sorting themselves out by season's end.  That being said, I couldn't  be more elated with how this team has performed.  From the close OT upset with Oakland they overcame until now, this team is growing leaps and bounds and definitely has earned their ranking

I see ASU is hold steady at #107 and 4-3 including a loss to UTEP.

BUILD THAT BRAND Mr. Christopher!!!

(not bitter at ALL ....... even if I am not sure I would trade him for Chaundee on this team)
