Michigan has the most players in the Super Bowl
We top the list at 7. I wonder if we have the two oldest as well. it’s amazing that two Carr era players are in the game still.
3 out of top five teams are B1G as well.

Topped the list for the Conference Championship games this past weekend as well, with 11.

Where's OSU on that list? Awwww they're all the way down at 2... how unfortunate! Same number of players as Rutgers, Toledo, and Indiana State! lol
January 26th, 2021 at 7:48 AM ^
CMU has more than Bama!?
January 26th, 2021 at 7:49 AM ^
If only all CFB recruits could see this and nothing else ... you could sell them on the idea that EMU is a better place to realize your dreams than OSU.

If you wanted to win a super bowl in 2021, it's factually correct.
January 26th, 2021 at 11:29 AM ^
Impressive! As stated, if you want to be in the SB 2021....now, if you want to get drafted in the first round....lol
btw, that is a hell of a lot of UM players....

If you want to get paid and win a championship in college, pick osu. If you want to get paid and win a championship as a professional, pick Michigan.
January 26th, 2021 at 8:47 PM ^
I cited the super bowl only; beginning the 2020 season, UM had 33 players in the NFL, we had 52.....get paid: tOSU...super bowl; apparently UM this year
January 26th, 2021 at 9:01 PM ^
I said if you want to get paid AND win a championship.

Important note:
Eastern Michigan has two more players (2) than OSU (0)
...as does CSU Pueblo and George Mason...
January 26th, 2021 at 9:14 AM ^
I mean, you know it's bad when CSU - Pueblo can have things you can't....

Ohio State having none is nice. LSU is claiming to have the most with 6 (and that no other school has more than 4).
January 26th, 2021 at 10:33 AM ^
Well obviously they can't count pass the number 7.
Sad what the funding cutbacks in public education has brought to the people in the great state of Louisiana.
January 26th, 2021 at 8:21 PM ^
Can’t count “pass” the number 7.
Now THAT is funny.

I know the 5 with KB but who is the 2nd player with TB? I can't seem to find it on the google but that may speak more to my googling skills than anything.

Matt Wile

Who are the 5 with KC? I just looked at their roster and I’ll I could find was 3: Clark, Dana and Henne
January 26th, 2021 at 8:09 AM ^
The list seems to include practice squad. Omameh and Taco.
January 26th, 2021 at 8:12 AM ^
Taco Charlton and Patrick Omameh

Great stat thanks OP

I'd rather have more players in the College Playoff.
January 26th, 2021 at 8:34 AM ^
Second that. Playing for a winning and dominant college football team > getting players to the NFL as a recruiting tool. If you have talent, you'll make it to the NFL regardless.
January 26th, 2021 at 8:33 AM ^
Impressive. I would have guessed Tampa or KC had more.
January 26th, 2021 at 8:36 AM ^
I am not surprised a whole state is better represented than a single city.
January 26th, 2021 at 8:54 AM ^
Coaches. If only Michigan could get over the coaching hump.
January 26th, 2021 at 9:26 AM ^
MSU has 3.
Alabama and Oregon have 2.
Georgia, Florida, ND, Oklahoma, Wisconsin have 1.
Six BIG teams—OSU, NW, Rutgers, IU, MD, Purdue—have zero.

How old is TB12? Brady was a Moeller recruit. Moeller gave the final clearance to for the assistant coaches to visit Brady's school and meet his parents.

Best quote:
“I was coaching the receivers in 1986 when [Jim] Harbaugh was a senior,” Harris said. “I was always telling him that his receivers made him look good. He was a competitor. He didn’t want to lose at anything. Tommy is the same way. This man could be a Harbaugh. Harbaugh played in the pros for 18 years, and Tommy is going to play for 18 years. Same kind of people.”

Yeah, maybe its time Brian gives DeBord his due... seemed when he was around, the players we got were special. Now we have him back.. I'd like to see him as a position coach.

The amount for OSU had to have gone down significantly after the Saints lost. I swear at least a year or two ago at least three of the Saints' four starters in the secondary were all OSU players.
January 26th, 2021 at 9:52 PM ^
Started with Will Smith (NTWS/RIP), then Malcolm Jenkins, back in the super bowl days... then a flood of guys like Lattimore, Eli apple, Mike Thomas, Vonn Bell, throw in Ted Ginn as well, and even signed JT to practice squad. As a Saints fan I sometimes feel unclean
January 26th, 2021 at 12:15 PM ^
OHIO STATE HAS NONE ! Need to use this in recruiting...
January 26th, 2021 at 12:55 PM ^
16 players who played for a Michigan college (surprised that Eastern has 2)
January 26th, 2021 at 3:36 PM ^
I'd feel better if they'd have played for championships before going pro.
January 26th, 2021 at 3:36 PM ^
I wish they played for championships before going pro.
