About ourlads.com

Ourlads NFL Scouting Services is an organization which has been scouting, evaluating, and rating college football talent as it pertains to the NFL Draft since the early 1980's. In 1983 it produced its first publication, Ourlads' Guide to the NFL Draft. In recent years, as a service to its client base and because of free agency, Ourlads has had to expand to include monitoring, evaluating, and rating of established NFL players.

Whenever there was a green, but beautiful blue just had to be the borrower in this arrai, but that's not even that's I'd peculiar wouldn't they say. It's something they would say and it's not them who we should be running from but the green they are the threat of the growing. So it is said.

According to Balas two days ago, Zinter is starting RG, Vastardis C, Stueber RT.

On defense, in yesterday’s article, Balas has a few differences, too, with backup safeties switched (Paige is Hill’s backup).

DJ Hunter and Green seem to be starting CBs at the moment, so it is interesting to see where 2020’s two highly rated CBs come in—Seldon and DGW.

Good to see Nikhail is earning a starting spot, seeing that talent get realized. Articles I’m reading really make the LBs sound like a standout group. I’m excited to see if they play as well as backers do in the Ravens system.  The talent and size is here.

Our lads has no connection to the school. They just have people who scour the internet for tidbits and best guess what depth charts will look like prior to the season, and adjust as the season goes on. I’d much more trust the word of insiders, like Balas, who just stated Vastardis was starting at center currently with Zinter at guard.

That being said, I don’t know that there has been confirmation that Vastardis has “won” the job yet. We’re getting close enough to the start of the season that I’d HOPE they’ve decided on a starting 5, but theres still the possibility that they’re still working out who their best 5 is. Which would obviously include giving Vastardis time with the 1s to sort that out.

From the Trib article:

"In 2003, Shonka pleaded no contest to two counts of theft in St. Croix County, Wis., for selling dogs for medical research without their owners' consent, according to Wisconsin Department of Justice officials.

A judge in Wisconsin sentenced Shonka to 9 months in jail and 4 years of probation and ordered him to pay restitution, fines and court costs totaling $110,000."

I have a greyhound mix, she's basically my unregistered emotional support dog, always with me...fuck that guy, I can't believe I've actually helped them keep their site updated.

Piece of shit. Fuck, I wish I hadn't read that (but appreciate you bringing it to our attention).

Andrel will be interesting to watch after hearing good things of his catches in camp.

Filiaga missed blocks left and right last year. its good to see him as a back up. Hopefully he puts it together.

Can't wait to get the season started and hear a crowd in the hole that Yost dug!

You can just e-mail them and they will change it...they are really just updating it the same way the rest of us do.

That said, Vastardis is starting at C.

Crippen is ahead of Anderson and maybe Atteberry.

Walk-On Joey George will probably play some.

Hill-Green passed Michael Barrett.

Solomon and Velazquez are ahead of Hood...especially Velazquez.

George Johnson is ahead of German Green and Green-Warren.

Rod Moore is ahead of Perry who is bouncing back and forth between CB and S.

Rhett Anderson is the backup PK.

AJ Henning will be returning something. If not both kicks and punts.

He must be good. Or, he must be fitting in real well with what Mike Macdonald is doing.

Michael Barrett was a great player in high school. He was a real leader on offense. I still remember watching his video when Michigan got his commit. He made a lot happen. It doesn't seem like it's 4 years ago already. Hill-Green must me making quite an impression in only his second year to be passing him on the chart.

I was just thinking that Vastardis may keep the OC job because the staff seems to love Zinter at RG and Crippen at OC for the future. Hopefully Barnhart and Jones don't mind waiting a little while longer.

The principal difference is that Ourlads' evaluators not only spend hours upon hours viewing video tapes but we go on the road to appraise players close up. Ourlads' scouts are to be seen at the practice weeks of the Shrine Game, and Senior Bowl to mention but a few. Whereas most others in this business scout with their ears and read numerous college press releases, Ourlads' policy is to reach independent conclusions based on what is seen. Over the long haul, those conclusions have generally served our subscribers well.

Ourlads' Scouting Services was the first to use computers to monitor, evaluate, and rate the talent. It has developed complex algorithms through the years and also has developed a comprehensive set of databases to be harvested. Ourlads was also the first to produce newsletters pertaining to the draft dating back to 1987.

For a guy who was getting a ton of practice praise just a season or so ago, Anthony Solomon is really low on this depth chart.  Not a fit for the new system I guess.
