I've been critical of Coach Howard on this forum. For me, he is the key to the season. His growth as a coach will determine how far this team goes. Does he manage minutes better than his previous seasons? Does he develop the bench better than in previous years? Does he find workable rotations that maximize the team's strengths? In year 4, the coaching should be high level.

In my wayyyy to early opinion, I like the way this team plays/looks better than last year's Moussa/Houston team...energy is already light years better.

Already different than last year...just watching Houston and the way he played, then Johns, then Moussa being a spaz, it all just pissed me off from the get go and lasted all season, I did not like it, no sir.

It's early, but this seems to be a very talented team. They look fast/quick. They can defend. They can shoot.

My overreaction 8 minutes into the season is that the offense looks a lot more smooth than it did last year. Shooting definitely seems like a massive improvement.

Reed has already challenged a few shots on the defensive end. I think he'll be fine as the season progresses. Dug, on the other hand, is super quick. I'm anticipating he'll become really good as the season grows.
