Michigan is America‘s Team

Michigan is America‘s Team because Sports Illustrated said so. Just kidding. It’s because the numbers say so and SI just pointed out the obvious. This is the same reason the Dallas Cowboys were known as America‘s Team: because they had a combination of high popularity and a geographically well-distributed fanbase that guaranteed that even if they weren’t the most popular team in any given area they were the one most likely to be most popular wherever you went.

And Harbaugh must have a clean program. NCAA and UofM have been through his cell and computers and found zero infractions.

He is also willing to testify under oath where if he lied it would be a real crime.

In that case, fuck it.

  1. Temporarily demote Harbaugh to Special Teams Coach for two games and put him on the sidelines this game and for The Game.
  2. Hire Connor Stalions as Head Coach and let him watch the game from home.
  3. Sign Harbaugh's extension making him the highest paid head coach in America.
  4. Raise the banners in Crisler.
  5. Start the process of leaving the B1G.

Fuck the NCAA, fuck the B1G, fuck 3rd base, fuck Sparty and while we're at it, fuck the Cowboys.

I suffered through Ryan Day's presser the other day and an idiot reporter asked him "Who's team are you? Are you North Americas team, America's team, the worlds team or who's team are you?" The question must have been in response to Harbaugh claiming we are now America's team but the question was just brutal and Ryan Day answered in typical brutal fashion, not even entertaining the crux of the question.

After a season of rushing futility... games where we couldn't break a run of more than 5-6 yards, and no real consistency, the OL and RBs went to TOWN against the best rush defense we've faced. Not only the best performance, but no tricks, no bells, no whistles. Just soul crushing runs. How is this possible? Are we that adaptable that we can truly win any type of game? Did something click? Was it the team just rising to the challenge?

Also, is Mullings coming back this week? I'd like to see him get some 2nd half carries to pound the defense into submission.
