Think we posted this article, or something very like it including the plant story, when Coach Herbert was hired.  Still a great story and I like his out of the box thinking.  From all the information out there on him he may be a secret weapon moving the athleticism bar a little higher for the guys.

This thread title reads like one of those end-of-article Internet ads.  "The NCAA doesn't want Michigan to use this one weird trick, but they can't stop them!"

I saw this very old woman at the grocery store the other day and she had all the usual old person grocery items, bread, plums, etc. You know how they shop, enough for a couple of days.

There was one thing she made sure she had plenty of and that was animal crackers. She had two big bags of them. I thought, that woman loves her some animal crackers.

P.S. Nobody better come in here throwing out the logic that she might be buying them for her grandchildren. No. Don't take this from me. This old woman loves animal crackers. So, fuck off.

away from the keyboard.  It looks as though you actually may really be having some kind of breakdown and you don't want to type anything else on an on-line forum.  If you are for real thinking the things you typed above go to a hospital or something.  That doesn't sound good.

snapped and started throwing around super-racist comments.  He acknowledged that he had gone off the deepend and then retracted his earlier stuff to the extent he could and said he needed to get some help.  Many agreed.  All of his posts were deleted and I assume he is in Bolivia/getting help.

No matter what you're talking about in life, 'dumb it down,' make it relatable & show the every day relevance and people will understand it and that seems like what Herbert does with the two plants and the two different ways to feed them. I think it's a great way to get everyone on board with the best way to treat and get the most out of their bodies.

On a different note, those Darren Rovell videos below are ridiculous. Guy look like a bigger clown out there than he normally does.

Act i: New coach is brough in.  Everyone lauds his new and innovative methods.  Applauds his "out of the box" approach (unless he's replacing an out of the box approach guy - then everyone applauds his "return to the basics" approach).  Guy gets a lot of initial pub and everybody loves him.  Players say things like "if we only had these techniques last year things sure would've been different."

Act 2: Season starts.  Nobody really notices anything different.  Team does what team does but when things go bad fans/players start to question S & C coach's methods.  If one of the out of the box guys people ask "why arent we doing things that have proven to be successful? "  If one of the old school proponents people ask "why arent we using those new methods everybody else is trying?"

Act 3: Head coach ends unsuccessful season and needs to serve up an assistant as a blood sacrifice to appease the masses.  Looks around and picks the guy having the least real impact on results, sees the S & C coach and fires him.

Rinse...repeat.
