Obviously we cant have good things.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:23 PM ^
Dwumfour was not that good. Not sure this is really a loss.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:24 PM ^
True but he is better than Mason.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:24 PM ^
We've got about 2 DTs on the roster as it is. We need all the help we can get.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:28 PM ^
Don’t disagree that we’ve got no depth but our interior DL this year was not a “good thing”
December 29th, 2019 at 3:29 PM ^
With due respect, that is an idiotic take. “Not that good.” Wtf. He was good enough to start every game. Did you see how god awful UM was against the run versus WIS when he didn’t play? It’s a HUGE loss for the Citrus Bowl and, more importantly, the 2020 season if he’s done at UM. Huge.
December 30th, 2019 at 9:09 AM ^
Good enough to start every game? What? He started TWO games and had 2 solo tackles on the season. In what universe did he start every game?
December 29th, 2019 at 3:48 PM ^
They are going from 2 DTs to just one with this loss.
Its a big fucking loss when you’re playing Alabama of all teams.
December 30th, 2019 at 10:25 PM ^
And you are getting negged for speaking the truth. Our whole dline besides hutch is big ten west mid tier material
December 29th, 2019 at 3:27 PM ^
I don’t really get this. Maybe it’s disciplinary reasons? He’s not getting drafted. He gets PT, so why would he transfer.
Edit: I think he’s just visiting his buddy Rashan. I’m sure all is well.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:28 PM ^
Well Higdon decided to sit out the bowl game and was pretty obviously not anything close to a big time NFL prospect
December 29th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
Higdon was a senior wasn’t he?
December 29th, 2019 at 4:57 PM ^
He was a senior that got drafted.... that’s right he wasn’t.
December 29th, 2019 at 6:53 PM ^
He was a senior who chose to sit out of the bowl game, inexplicably, and went undrafted. Based on what I know about his father and from what his personal friend who used to post here, I get the sense that he was surrounded by people who constantly told him that he was the shit.
December 29th, 2019 at 10:32 PM ^
This is true. I know the director of maintenance and operations for Sarasota schools (we stay at their house when we go to Siesta Key). Karan’s father worked for the maintenance department for years and still had contact with him. He was enraged when Karan wasn’t offensive MVP last year and was a major voice in Karan not playing in the bowl game last year.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:28 PM ^
Is he injured?
December 29th, 2019 at 3:37 PM ^
Possibly. It seems like we would have heard about it since it would be so serious that he didn’t even travel with the team. I’m sure Alabama could’ve easily figured that out so I don’t know why it needs to be a secret. But then again...Harbaugh.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:49 PM ^
According to Balas, he had a medical procedure and is out for the game.
December 29th, 2019 at 4:10 PM ^
Disciplinary and the consequence is to go to a Lions game? I’ve been a Harbaugh supporter through thick and thin, but that is over the line.
December 29th, 2019 at 6:41 PM ^
?
One fake point for making me laugh!
December 29th, 2019 at 4:43 PM ^
He had a medical procedure and can’t play or travel to the citrus bowl
December 29th, 2019 at 3:27 PM ^
Is he even NFL material?
December 29th, 2019 at 3:29 PM ^
Injured?
December 29th, 2019 at 3:33 PM ^
I think he did get injured in the OSU game, ankle. He was probably told to stay home, so he took in a Lions game.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:37 PM ^
Why would anyone willingly put themselves through so much misery while recovering from an injury?
December 29th, 2019 at 4:03 PM ^
The true definition of 'adding insult to injury'
December 29th, 2019 at 4:28 PM ^
He’s probably a Packers fan! He’s probably happy, since the Lions blew another game. Patricia will go 0-16 next season!
December 29th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
Isn’t he friends with Gary? I thought that was the original reason for offering him was to help get Gary to come here.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:36 PM ^
A Michigan spokesperson said that he had a medical procedure done that’s causing him to miss the bowl game.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:44 PM ^
He's injured. He'll be back and hopefully 20 pounds heavier next year. A rotation/ combination of Dwumfour, Hinton, Smith at nose and 3 Tech would be, well, better than this year.
December 29th, 2019 at 3:45 PM ^
SOL lie-downs, currently leading Green Bay. lie-downs will do everything stupid, like winning a meaningless game, to ruin their draft position, and then still draft a tight-end.
December 29th, 2019 at 4:20 PM ^
Nowhere to put this but Jameis Winston just pulled a Scott Mitchell to create the 30-30 club (tds-INTs) with a pick six in OT to lose to the Falcons. Epic.
December 29th, 2019 at 4:20 PM ^
LOL, Lions! And we are going to keep this coach!
December 29th, 2019 at 4:34 PM ^
....and GM....and owners!
December 29th, 2019 at 4:25 PM ^
Covered by wolverines wire: he had a medical procedure.

Sorry about the link, links r hard on phones apparently

Whether he plays or not doesn’t matter. Alabama is going to run past, around, and over Michigan’s defense all day on Wednesday. Najee is going for at least 150. Might as well get the freshmen in there to get them some reps. The experience can’t hurt.
Michigan’s only chance is if Alabama’s secondary decides not to show up, Shea can make some big plays with Collins and DPJ on a consistent basis, and if the game comes down to the last possession, force Alabama to have to kick to win the game.
Otherwise, this game has 54-21 Alabama written all over it.
December 29th, 2019 at 4:32 PM ^
I'm not sure we get to 21.
December 29th, 2019 at 4:29 PM ^
Alabama is going to cave in the heads of our remaining defensive tackles...holy shit.
December 29th, 2019 at 4:42 PM ^
According to a Freep article:
A team spokesperson said Sunday afternoon Dwumfour, a redshirt junior defensive tackle, underwent a medical procedure that prevented him from traveling to Orlando and will thus keep him from participating in the Wolverines' game against Alabama on Jan. 1.
December 29th, 2019 at 4:46 PM ^
All Alabama will do is run up the middle for 8 yards a crack. Only question is which Michigan offense will show up? If we can keep up scoring it could stay interesting! Otherwise it will be a big blowout.
December 29th, 2019 at 6:10 PM ^
How the hell did we go from an nfl dlineman football factory to this? Bamas huge oline is gonna launch our undersized razor thin line into the 10th row. Wtf!
