Michigan Football Desmond Howard becomes the 29th Wolverine inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame!
i pulled those directly from the college hall of fame site
...here's the Bentley Historical Library's list. Desmond is indeed, the 35th Wolverine College Football Hall of Famer, but he's the 30th player in the Hall.
One caveat. As they note, William Morley "...played one year at Michigan, then played for Columbia 1899-1901, earning All-American honors as a halfback in 1900 and 1901."
without all the practice and skills he learned at UM!
...goes without saying. But you said it, and you are correct, sir.
All three Wisterts, right? I mean, it's why 11 is retired.
Garrett Rivas
I pulled the info from the HOF site (which is an abomination, btw) and made a Sporcle quiz.
Enjoy!
Will be the FIRST Woverine football player in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame (of Space)
But yes, you are correct.
Does anybody know the first year he is elgible? I doubt he will have to wait long considering he is the only defensive player ever to win the Heisman.
Benny Friedman and Merv Pregulman
