McSorley hurts knee, currently out of game against Iowa

Great bye week game!

McSorley went down in the 2nd quarter and is out of the game.  Looks to be a knee sprain.  May impact our game next week.

Iowa controls its destiny with a win.  They look like a great matchup for UM in the B1G championship...  Solid defense with a non-mobile QB that we should be able to shut down.

14-14 deep into the 2nd quarter.

Of course, none of this matters until we beat Ohio State!

That’s what happens when you run your QB too much.  Nice job Franklin, you’re next on the Revenge Tour and will be 1-3 against Harbaugh

Reminds me of the RR days and the argument that running QBs are injured at the same rate as non running QBs.

I don’t know the answer, but I think a lot of the injuries are caused by smaller repeated hits/ tackles. Then again, it’s not uncommon to have a tear on a non contact play (eg Black).

Honestly this attitude is one i have but it's not because i need the justification. It's more because i still doubt this team. Not because they deserve the doubt but because I'm a pessimist and so if they beat Penn State with MCsorley, I'll have justifiably more confidence than i did before. Which let's be honest, a day after the win i won't believe they're capable of doing well anyway.

All 3 of his throws looked very weak on that 3 and out when he returned. Keep your eyes on him moving forward.

On the other hand, Stephens is massive. I know Trace is very short but I was cracking up watching them stand next to each other.

No matter who wins PSU will be a little beat up next week.  This is a hard hitting game.  McSorley or no McSorley I just want to beat PSU down next week.  I am originally from the area and thank god every day I got out!

I also would love the Iowa matchup if it all plays out.  We have beaten NWU and WIS, Iowa would end up with the highest ranking.
