This is actually just a big nothing burger. This interview was from yesterday, possibly yesterday morning. The spun is good, but they have a bit of a delay sometimes.
From the other article quoting the radio interview of this morning:
He said he spent all day yesterday talking to multiple people who are plugged into this situation and now feels pretty confident in Urban returning.
So it looks like after the interview posted in the spun, he spent the day talking to multiple people close to the situation and changed his tune.

Fair, but the other thread was getting pretty long. I think we can conclude at this point that he probably doesn't know one way or the other.

A friend of mine is an engineer and gets materials from a guy in Ohio who’s son is on the football team. He said Meyer will step down and there could be some self imposed sanctions to keep NCAA out of it.

My toddler son's daycare friend has a dog whose breeder has unprotected sex with a felon who served jail time with a former OSU player whose cousin happened to play for UF ten years before Urban was there but his uncle was a security guard at the supermarket where Jameis Winston stole crab legs and his nephew has a friend who works in the cafeteria at the OSU dorms where the football players go to hook up with coeds and one of them knows a girl who slept with one of the players who said that Urban may be fired but if he isn't fired she won't be surprised.
