Thing is you can't expect to routinely get top 20 players AND stay within the rules. Not even MSU does that and look at the success they've had. Kind of an unfair request to be quite honest. M basketball fans need to realize the same thing MSU football fans do, itll never be A+ recruiting but he'll get guys that can play within the system.

And yet, Jordan Poole is ranked higher than him.

We have multiple seniors who will actually get to play this year (please God, no more injuries) and a pretty good class coming in.

Looking at how stacked the roster is for the next 2-4 years..........Beilein isn't going anywhere. Because we should be winning a lot of games, and some championships.

I did say I was inclined to believe he would be our next commit, although I thought it would happen after visits in late September, so I essentially got lucky on my best guess.

Here's some context - Isaiah told me UM was #1 after his visit in June. MSU was the dream school, but he was frustrated by their slow play, and he and his Dad both agreed UM style of play fit his game much better. Essentially he just wanted to take a visit or two and then commit to UM. Once Kithier dropped for MSU, and word got out that Justin Smith was visiting August 14th, he knew he had to take that spot or risk being left out.
