MBB 4-0 POSBANG

Minus the first 10 minutes, that was the most complete game we've played this year so far. the offense was firing on all cylinders inside and outside, and the defense shut down UCF. And this was despite an off night by Livers.

This team could be pretty good.

Livers with 5 points and we still scored 80! This team is stacked!! Loving Dickenson Chaundee and Williams. Need to get these guys more involved early and in the starting lineup. Thank god for basketball! GO BLUE!

Lots of talent.  PG play limits the potential I'm afraid.  I'd like to see Dickenson run the offense from the free throw line a la McGary vs. Syracuse.

Love the new 'croots and transfers! The ceiling is pretty high -- this is probably the 4th or 5th best team in the conference as of now. And they will continue to improve!

This year is house money. So many teams are going all in to try to make a championship push, like Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois

Eligibility stuff might make next year weird because I don't see a spot in the NBA for anyone on Iowa or Wisconsin, but it's clear that Michigan is on the rise and the ceiling is the roof!

The perfect foil to the football team. High energy, great teamwork, can't keep the bench guys sitting because they're always standing up cheering

Everything wrong with the football team is right with the basketball program

Three guys off the bench in double figures and they were on ones that turned the game around. This could be the deepest Michigan team we have seen in years.

Parker's heritage 10 year heavy char, EHTaylor single barrel, Blanton's (only needed the second "N" to compete the set and it was there), redwood empire haystack single barrel (a 14 year old mgp bourbon), willet rye 4 year (over 110 proof which I like), and a midwinter's night dram.  All at msrp.

They had tons of other stuff including btac and pappy but I didn't place high enough to get one. Happy with the haul though.

After a rough start I was really impressed how they responded in terms of offensive flow and defensive intensity.  UCF was getting to the rim early on and were getting some sketchy fouls on both ends so the players adapted, denied the lanes, and UCF didn't have a counter.  Then the offense started to move the ball really well and hitting open shots.

A really solid win and one I hope they can build on considering they may not get another before the conference slate (if NC State game gets cancelled because of COVID-19).

Fun game to watch. I can’t believe how relaxed, disciplined and effective Dickinson looks and plays on both ends of the floor. Go Blue!

HD and Terrence Williams getting lots of playing time, which can only help as the season progresses. Hunter particularly, looks like a 2nd year guy already.

happy to see such a huge contribution from the bench. CBJ and Smith have been phenomenal additions to the squad

Not a great day from Livers and Wagner...the former, i am not too worried, but Franz is still a little off...hoping he is able to work through it like he did last season...

Takeaways I see after 4 games:

1. Not a great shooting team. Not overly confident in anyone to make a 3 when it goes up. Probably Livers and Brown are 1 and 1A. Best when we Shoot less 3’s.

2. No clue who the best player is on this team. Dickinson might be most valuable. We probably got the worst best player on our team in conference (no go to scorer/get you a bucket when you need it). But, w/o watching everyone probably the deepest team. 8-9 legit bodies.

3. Dickinson is so polished. Solid D, great passer, efficient around hoop. Very impressed. Stays within his limits. Him and Brown might be 2 of our best 3 players? Both off the bench. Add Livers as well? Again not sure, depends on night. Definitely both good enough to start, but Howard must like them off the bench for a spark.
