HAIL HOWARD!!!

I remember doing this dance in my driveway......in my now distant youth.

Swaggy.

During Covid that's assault, brotha.

December 6th, 2020 at 10:22 PM ^
Technically breathing on someone can be used in assault charge (civil and possibly criminal) depending on how it was done/meant. Covid didn't change those laws, but made it more serious for consideration.

Livers with 5 points and we still scored 80! This team is stacked!! Loving Dickenson Chaundee and Williams. Need to get these guys more involved early and in the starting lineup. Thank god for basketball! GO BLUE!
December 6th, 2020 at 6:01 PM ^
JH called that time out down 28-20 and they went on a 15-0 run afterward. Never looked back. Go Blue. Bang me.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:08 PM ^
I turned the channel at that point. When I turned it back UCF ended the run a few seconds later.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:12 PM ^
Sounds like we need to DVR some games for you!
December 6th, 2020 at 6:18 PM ^
I know I’m being punished for something. I won’t watch the game this Saturday if there is one.
December 6th, 2020 at 7:31 PM ^
Nah...you just had an off day today like Livers. Get your mind right
December 6th, 2020 at 6:01 PM ^
Lots of talent. PG play limits the potential I'm afraid. I'd like to see Dickenson run the offense from the free throw line a la McGary vs. Syracuse.
December 6th, 2020 at 9:54 PM ^
Let's pray every team runs a 2-3 zone then. Syracuse dictated our using McGary that way, not the other way around. It's the general strategy for cracking open the middle of a 2-3 zone defense, but not necessarily ideal against man.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:02 PM ^
Love the new 'croots and transfers! The ceiling is pretty high -- this is probably the 4th or 5th best team in the conference as of now. And they will continue to improve!
December 6th, 2020 at 6:04 PM ^
This year is house money. So many teams are going all in to try to make a championship push, like Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois
Eligibility stuff might make next year weird because I don't see a spot in the NBA for anyone on Iowa or Wisconsin, but it's clear that Michigan is on the rise and the ceiling is the roof!
December 6th, 2020 at 6:38 PM ^
You don’t see a spot in the NBA for Luka Garza?
December 6th, 2020 at 8:49 PM ^
Nope.
December 6th, 2020 at 10:25 PM ^
Can you provide some reasoning behind that feeling? I’m genuinely curious.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:02 PM ^
The perfect foil to the football team. High energy, great teamwork, can't keep the bench guys sitting because they're always standing up cheering
Everything wrong with the football team is right with the basketball program
December 6th, 2020 at 6:06 PM ^
Yep, MBB has great recruiting, solid player development, and good in-game coaching -- though I think Howard should tinker with the starters some. In other words, everything the football prgram lacks.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:08 PM ^
Yep. I say this once a week.
Football team talks a lot of shit generally, gets all the press- does fuckall
Basketball team says nothing. Wins stuff.
December 6th, 2020 at 7:42 PM ^
My favorite workout shirt is the end-of-season white shirt from three years ago that has ‘do more, say less’ on the front. Perfect under Bielien, Perfect under Howard.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:03 PM ^
Three guys off the bench in double figures and they were on ones that turned the game around. This could be the deepest Michigan team we have seen in years.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:03 PM ^
Very good win. But we need to get the upperclassmen to start out better to lead the way. Depending on freshmen to get the team going is not ideal. Go Blue!
December 6th, 2020 at 6:05 PM ^
Dickenson is a beast out there. Hard to believe that kid is a freshman.
December 6th, 2020 at 8:07 PM ^
Well he is 20 soooooo
December 6th, 2020 at 6:05 PM ^
I need a strong liver. Especially after a bourbon lottery today. Bang bang!
December 6th, 2020 at 7:41 PM ^
Just curious, what did you score in your bourbon lottery?
December 6th, 2020 at 8:49 PM ^
Parker's heritage 10 year heavy char, EHTaylor single barrel, Blanton's (only needed the second "N" to compete the set and it was there), redwood empire haystack single barrel (a 14 year old mgp bourbon), willet rye 4 year (over 110 proof which I like), and a midwinter's night dram. All at msrp.
They had tons of other stuff including btac and pappy but I didn't place high enough to get one. Happy with the haul though.
December 6th, 2020 at 11:17 PM ^
Sounds like Christmas came 19 days early for you. Congrats on the haul, lots of variety with your picks. Finding Blanton's here in Michigan is almost impossible. Been looking for one since April. A few bottles show up every 4-5 months, just have to be always looking.... Cheers ?

Email mgohillbilly at Gmail if you want and I'll see what I can do about getting you one at cost.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:05 PM ^
49 bench pts
December 6th, 2020 at 6:06 PM ^
Imagine what this team would/will look like if/when Wagner starts playing as expected. Future is real bright.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:06 PM ^
We a basketball school
December 6th, 2020 at 6:06 PM ^
I'm just posbanging all over the place. Go Blue!
December 6th, 2020 at 6:07 PM ^
After a rough start I was really impressed how they responded in terms of offensive flow and defensive intensity. UCF was getting to the rim early on and were getting some sketchy fouls on both ends so the players adapted, denied the lanes, and UCF didn't have a counter. Then the offense started to move the ball really well and hitting open shots.
A really solid win and one I hope they can build on considering they may not get another before the conference slate (if NC State game gets cancelled because of COVID-19).
December 6th, 2020 at 6:07 PM ^
Good job JH. Way to make adjustments and step on the throat of the opponent after a slow start!
December 6th, 2020 at 6:08 PM ^
Nothing of substance to add. Just basking in the bang!
December 6th, 2020 at 6:09 PM ^
Keep smiling Chaundee, keep smiling all year
Love seeing Davis coaching Dickenson
December 6th, 2020 at 6:39 PM ^
Davis deserves to be a team captain and honestly that alone should keep him as the starter even if it’s only for couple minutes. He’s very mature and is a true leader. Something we are missing in football....
December 6th, 2020 at 6:12 PM ^
Fun game to watch. I can’t believe how relaxed, disciplined and effective Dickinson looks and plays on both ends of the floor. Go Blue!
December 6th, 2020 at 6:22 PM ^
He plays (and looks) like a Senior.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:40 PM ^
He can make some difficult shots is a great defender, and is an excellent free throw shooter. Literally the complete package!
December 6th, 2020 at 6:13 PM ^
Lions win
Michigan win
Bang me.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:23 PM ^
And the football team didn’t lose.
December 6th, 2020 at 6:13 PM ^
HD and Terrence Williams getting lots of playing time, which can only help as the season progresses. Hunter particularly, looks like a 2nd year guy already.
happy to see such a huge contribution from the bench. CBJ and Smith have been phenomenal additions to the squad
Not a great day from Livers and Wagner...the former, i am not too worried, but Franz is still a little off...hoping he is able to work through it like he did last season...
December 6th, 2020 at 6:14 PM ^
Takeaways I see after 4 games:
1. Not a great shooting team. Not overly confident in anyone to make a 3 when it goes up. Probably Livers and Brown are 1 and 1A. Best when we Shoot less 3’s.
2. No clue who the best player is on this team. Dickinson might be most valuable. We probably got the worst best player on our team in conference (no go to scorer/get you a bucket when you need it). But, w/o watching everyone probably the deepest team. 8-9 legit bodies.
3. Dickinson is so polished. Solid D, great passer, efficient around hoop. Very impressed. Stays within his limits. Him and Brown might be 2 of our best 3 players? Both off the bench. Add Livers as well? Again not sure, depends on night. Definitely both good enough to start, but Howard must like them off the bench for a spark.

Re point 2: mix in next year's freshmen and we've got a stew going
