This Maryland win at ranked Wisconsin should get our team's attention (on the off-chance that our team thought the next game would somehow be easier or less of a challenge).

The Big Ten is a BRUTALLY tough but I like our chances of managing this gauntlet if the team takes it one game at a time.

Brad Davison got called for blocking at a key juncture of the game.   Karma bites.    He may have also received a hook call when he was driving to the basket, but I...ahem...needed a bathroom break and didn't see what the final ruling was after replay.   Bottom line:  Davison did not get home cooking.

It’s increasingly becoming clear that (possibly outside of Nebraska), any team can beat any team any given night. Michigan’s lucked out a bunch on their schedule, but they’ll still have to play many very good teams.

I was wrong. There are only 2 tiers in this conference:

TIER 1: Everyone except...

TIER 2: Nebraska and (checks out Minny-MSU game) the Spartans

They're a B1G team that deserves respect, but they're still a Turgeon team that lost most of their talent from last year. This should be a game where we can reliably feed Dickinson due to Marial being their only 7 footer who is built like a stick and they also have no true PG. We match up pretty well with Maryland as we have some solid wing defenders and if we can protect the 3 point line then we should be fine. I anticipate a lot of minutes from a Smith, Brown, Franz, Livers, Dickinson line up

I've looked through their box scores of their games and only the Clemson power forward actually had a good game inside against them despite their lack of size. Its been the guards and wings who have torched them. I will be interested to see how HD does against them. They do have big guards who will make it more difficult for ours to feed the post. With that last sentence, I agree that will we see more of Brown this game and possibly even more Williams since he seems to pass it well into HD. They primarily played 7 tonight so they may be tired next game since they only have a few days rest.

Their entire rotation is basically just 6'6" wings so I'm hoping Wagner, Livers, and Brown can lockdown their main scoring threats, Smith can get some penetration and kick, and HD can assert himself like has against every team without a legit big this season. Their positional size advantage at the guard spots over Smith and Brooks is my only worry
