Can we star taking about how historically good the O is? We've been focused on a dominant and perhaps all time D, but this offense has been excellent this whole season

So I have a thought on Speight that I'd like to share and would love Ace to look into...

Speight's drop is too deep and I think it has been all season however I think he did a better job in this game.

Example 1 -

6:22 2nd QTR - Ball on the Mich 48, Speight in shotgun is standing on the Maryland 47, he beings to drop and hits the 42 right when he sees a free rusher coming from his right. That's 10 yards from the LOS. That becomes a very tough angle for anyone to block and doesn't allow the room for a tackle to push a rusher past the QB. I think this has happen all season with edge pressure and it occurs the most on play-action.

Speight avoids the pressure and dumps the ball off.

Crawford is going to be a very speical player! Really excited about him and McDoom.

Love seeing Harris run and look healthy. At some point I hope to see him actually catch a couple balls that count but he is making use of his playing time with no Ways or Perry...

Serious question, do McDoom, Crawford and Harris bring more than Ways and Perry?

Having three senior recievers (Butt, Darboah and Chesson) helps a lot, BUT there are a lot of other excellent receivers that show flashes. Drake Harris made a great catch that got wiped out by a dubious call.

He can throw the long ball with accuracy. He is pretty calm in the pocket and dare I say it has that Bradyesque ability to spin and dodge pressure.

getting better every week.  Today was Wilton Speight's best game imho.  Can't think of a better quarterback in the Big 10, or one who does a better job of taking care of the football.
